With even the most pristine areas affected by heat, the researchers warned tough action on global warming was needed to ensure the reef's future. Likely it is too late to save coral reefs. Ocean temps will continue to rise even is we stop everything we are doing right now and go back to first century technology. Much of the ocean life will be adversely effected (already is) and we can only prepare at this point. Life on land faces similar difficulties but the atmosphere reacts far more quickly to inputs than water.

So researches call for tough action. What action? Oh, carbon taxes which ends up in the pocket of the rich. That action? While science has also said that if you cut co2 from fossil fuel burning to 0, today, the warming would continue for a least a hundred years. Since carbon tax will not happen here, why in the hell is land management not being used, by the world, and putting a halt to rainforest deforestation. Have any of these researchers EVEN suggested it? If so, prove it. This land management suggestion has been out there from years, from not climatologists but a physicist. LOL Stopping deforestation is not even talked about. What is the tough action called for? Carbon taxes. LOl I smell a pile of bull crap, still steaming, quite odoriferous. Who is telling these researches who demand tough action that carbon taxes, which will not stop the warming is the only thing worth talking about. WAKE UP FOLKS. This is a scheme to redistribute income, from the middle to the top. Nothing more than that, once again a opportunist conspiracy. Not that warming is not happening, but they will only address it in one way, which will not stop the warming. So, let us reduce co2 levels, by adding billions if not trillions of co2 loving flora and stop removing the earth's rain forest. Until they do that, it will remain a scheme of opportunists, to make billions for people who are already filthy rich.

I never hear the alarmists mention a word about that. They seem to be under the illusion that we can replace the energy fossil fuel proves with other energy source, wind, solar.
