    There's been a lot of that in this thread. It's amazing how people here can spew an ad-hoc theory and then try to pass it off as fact - without any (or very little) corroborating information whatsoever. Do people do this in their daily lives?

    I want campaigns where officials have to educate the public on voting records, political policy stances, and removes personal bullshit, like religious belief, from the equation.

    If we see who votes for what, what their policy stances are, and who their donors are, the electorate are enabled to make a dynamic, informed pick for their elected officials.

    As it stands, the current system relies on tribalism as well as emotional outrage.

    Neither of which is helpful.

    It is my understanding that Trump would have to produce the returns if they were subpoenaed.

    Still, in dealing with someone like Trump (a mentally numerable, irrational person, with ZERO grasp of The Constitution or legal precedent), I would expect Trump to start kicking and screaming.

    I'll feel even better if they donate said assets to charity. The US Government is very well funded, but there are people who are living in poverty. It'd be poetic justice to take what was robbed, and gave it to those in need.

    Can he use the Comey defense of it is irrelevant that he committed a criminal offense unless it can be proven his motive was criminality and that he proactively knew he was deliberately committing a crime? Remember, ignorance of the law and being reckless is the perfect defense.

    If this is all that comes of it(charges that have nothing to do with the campaign) then yes, Trump will be completely vindicated. That will be the reality.

    That won’t be what is pushed though.
