The story is how sad it is that evil can lie in the hearts of men, and make religious places(a sacred holy ground) a place of target. If a house of worship can be attacked, then none of us are safe. If our religious views are being persecuted(be they Muslim, or Jewish or Christian), then we're no better and quickly descending into the hell hole of the third world countries where our troops are at.

Is the right desperate for heroes, is that the problem?

I knew none of us were safe the day I heard about 2 classrooms of first graders getting shot to death.

Maybe. I know they are desperate for someone to blame....anyone other than the man who pulled the trigger. It's Antifa's fault. It's the liberals' fault. It's Hillary's fault.

    Really?

Ok that’s just ridiculous. I’m not going to be able to show you that he did save lives, even when officials say as much, because he didn’t have some sort of plan that you know of? Seriously, that’s just ridiculous to me.

    Have a great evening.

The other irony of this thread is that the alt-right, in their desperation to tie this to Antifa and the protests/killings their alt-right fake news sources were telling them were going to happen over the weekend, have seemed to overlook the fact that this was, to the best of my knowledge, the only "Antifa" attempt at a killing over the weekend. All of these subliminal and not so veiled messages that the mighty Antifa and George Soros passed on to their loyal followers resulted in exactly one single attempt?

I guess Antifa isn't so scary after all if this is the best they can muster. Millions of followers, funding from Soros, and only one person acted on it.

    Hmmmmm....

If you want to stop focusing on the issue and make this guy a hero, by all means do so. I don't care what people think of him.

I'm a realist. I prefer to talk about the dead people who were gunned down as they sat in the church. That's all we do know to be a fact. That, and the gunman is dead. Nothing more. I don't speculate and wet my pants about things that are 1, irrelevant to the problem, and 2, are nothing but speculation.

I'm sorry you find that ridiculous. I call it "reality and discussing facts".

It has been customary to leave your guns in your vehicles when going to church, that may be changing before long though.

It is bizarre considering their distrust of "the media", all the way up to the President's constant whining, and the supposed desire for "truth"...

yet, instantly, before many were even aware of this latest tragedy, just as with the Vegas monster, a huge pile of blatant, fake news.

Maybe the mods want to let everyone know just who the real idiots are that believe in things that is the equivalent of the National Enquirer.
Or they just want to give everyone who has graduated from Jr High a belly laugh at the idiocy of these believers of fake news.

Nope, supposedly the Air Force never passed the information out to the authorities that needed that info. All his purchases were legal.

Awww, you're gonna give the Trumpeteers a head explosion posting real information like this.
And give this fake thread a bad rap.

Not all on the right have jumped to the conclusion of this thread, just like the left there are a few who will before the evidence is in. Many of us don't trust the MSM because they are way to biased and have been known to fabricate stories or just not report information which doesn't fit with the slant they want.

No actually. I just now heard something him being angry with his Mother in law. Oh well, not Antifa. I don't understand why someone would murder all those innocent strangers just because he was angry with his Wife and her Mom. Sick, stupid and tragic.

Same with folks who read the National Enquirer, they believe UFOs kidnapped an entire city. If it was printed.
Some people just have no sense of real life.

It's hard to reason with folks who have the mentality of thinking things from National Enquirer type rags are real.
