One more confirmation of existing of the ISIS-USA colaition in Syria.
Nice article by BBC tells how ISIS fighters were allowed to leave free the besieged city of Raqqa.

The locals negotiated, not the coalition, wonder if they'll stay in Turkey or end up in Yemen... probably no point since the US is now targeting ISIS in Yemen

Very flimsy excuse. Every one can see that the US led coalition and ISIS has much more stronger and complicated relations than it appears on the media.

Kudos to the BBC for having the courage to expose the scandal. How the jihadists are laughing at the West. So the howls of outrage about 'Russian planes/Assad/Syria attacking a convoy of civilians (with barrel bombs  )? They weren't civilians at all, they were jihadists. I've always said 'it isn't easy to distinguish the difference'.

You are truly comical.. The Russians have already made asses of themselves with their incriminating evidence that the US was fighting for ISIS... They offered video which turned out to be from a video game in 2015.

You all need to get better at your propaganda.

There was a piece on NPR where a reporter was interviewing people while Isis members we’re getting on buses to leave.

I personally don’t feel one way or the other about it.

Passing off an old video game as evidence that the US oversaw the exit of ISIS is pretty funny, don't you agree?

Interesting article and it looks to me like ISIS was run out of town with their tails between their legs. The negotiated retreat with the locals was I'm sure humiliating for ISIS and now instead of having civilians to hide behind they are out in the desert somewhere. Next step is find them and kill them.

Yes it's complicated because the truth is not being told by mainstream media and the Israeli and US governments, true.

But once you understand that the mainstream media is nothing but a propaganda tool for TPTB, then it becomes very simple. The US has been doing Israel's dirty work in the Mideast for years, including in Syria.

Right, now if the US went after these ISIS tools in Raqqa and killed a bunch of civilians leftist heads would explode.

It should be noted that the VAST majority of ISIS are made up of mercenaries....not religious radicals. They fight for money.

Most of these troops won't end up anywhere until ISIS can pay them. And without the oil money they had, that will now be more difficult.

I am assuming that what happened here was ISIS said they would fight to the death. And the 'good guys' realized it was pointless as it would cost more civilians (including the families of some of the fighters).

These compromises usually are complicated. But they usually have a logic to them.

I highly doubt the U.S. military/gov't. just let them go out of the goodness of their hearts. Plus, they knew the public backlash it would bring. They must have had a reason that made sense on the ground.

Until I hear ALL the facts, I am going to assume there was a good reason for this.

It's a BBC article, not a Russian video game.
You are trying to change a subject of discussion - what a cheap method to mislead the discussion from the real problem.
You should try to concentrate on the content of the article.
