This nonsense over wanting to ban Pit Bulls, going as far as the unjustified breed ban in metro areas, defies all logic. But if Pits scare you, remember there are domesticated dogs inbred with wolves across America. Wolfdogs, or woof hybrids, do exist. Whether it’s a German Shepherd breeding with a Tundra Wolf, or a Alaskan Malemute breeding with a Timber Wolf, they do exist. People have these dogs partially because of their wolf-like nature. Let’s hope the growing popularity of these dogs doesn’t keep you up st night.
And wolf/dog hybrids are usually housed as wild animals (basically, in large cages), or kept indoors - for this reason.

The Problem with Pit Bulls is not Bad Breeding,necessarily. One of the Most loveable and trustworthy breeds is the Labrador. It has been Banned in some areas as far as Breeding.Because of Overbreeding and bad breeding horror stories. Nevertheless,a Pit Bull is unique in the fact that it has a terrible habit of learning bad tendencies in it's puppyhood.If it is allowed to Rip & Tear { which Pit Bulls naturally love to do } it can really spell problems later on.A Pit Bull should never be trained by using any dog toy or Item { especially a Huge Ham Bone hanging from a tree limb } where it jumps up and grabs with it's teeth.DO NOT ALLOW A PIT BULL PUPPY LEARN RIP & TEAR.It will stay with the breed it's entire life cycle.Meaning it's a Learned trait.Seldom can be unlearned. Pit Bulls have a psychology all their own.They will sometimes revert to Rip & Tear when alone at home with a small child or infant. That's all it takes to end the life of a Human being { small child }. Plus Pit Bulls have some gland that restricts their ability to release their Jaws when gripping another dog in a fight.Meaning a Pit Bull fighting another dog and getting a good grip { bite } almost cannot be separated.Short of really Hot or Cold water being thrown at.
Pit Bulls are not like other dogs.Their Jaw locks after they aggressively bite into flesh.They aren't barkers in order to give a warning. They tend to go from Zero to Kill like no other breed. This breed needs to be wiped clean from American cities. The Breed is not recognized by the American Kennel Club and is not allowed into the Westminster Dog Show. However the cousin of the American Pit bull is the Staffordshire Terrier which is Recognized at Wertmins
Just get one of these, they're closely related to wolves. They look innocent like the rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but don't be fooled.
Excellent post. It reminded me of the main reason I'm no longer able to visit my local park - even though my taxes pay for its upkeep! It began when a group of 4 lifeforms discovered it was a good place to bring their pure-bred Staffordshire bull terriers, and they spent their time by breaking off some lower branches of trees, taunting their dogs to lock their jaws onto them (not that they needed much taunting?) and having great fun (in their tiny minds of course!) seeing how many times they could swing the dogs around and around until they tired of it, then the dogs turned their attention to other park users like me. I haven't been there since. Oh and I mustn't forget the real irony of this story . . . being unemployed they didn't pay any taxes for the park's upkeep, how surreal is that? And to continue the surrealism - my taxes where also paying not only to feed the punks, but to feed their effing dogs and pay vet's bills as well.
