Yes. They are citizens of other countries in my mind who should be returned to their countries. Every other developed nation in the world except for Canada does not have birthright citizenship and we didn't even have it util we needed a loophole to make the former black slaves US citizens. Simply being born on American soil doesn't make you Americans if your parents are foreigners and especially if they did it just so they could get a citizen in the family and get permanent status in the US.

Suffice it to say that smuggling people for profit is much more effective than smuggling them to commit acts of terrorism. For the rest of the story and, in general, to understand how the real world works, you would need to turn off Fox for a while, and listen to real news for a change.

 

And if we executed them on the spot when we caught them, guess what happens to the traffickers? Same with the drug trade. We know exactly where the larger factories are in Mexico or any country to our south. We could send a drone in there and light the place up in a second. OMG give the border patrol some credit, they're allowed to do their jobs now. How long did the builders of that ramp take to build it and what makes you think the BP would not see this happening? The wall is a stupid waste of money and completely unnecessary. I do want border security but that can be done by drones and fast response teams and frankly would be far more effective. When the 2008 crash happened and the job market dried up more than 2 million illegal immigrants went back to Mexico. Controlling employment is how you keep the numbers in check. Make fines for employing an illegal supremely high in the $50k or more per violation range. Make it illegal to pay illegals less than they would someone naturally born. One of the things that gets overlooked in the entire argument is that essentially it is low wage indentured servitude. Many of these people are desperate to feed themselves and their families and the employers know it and take advantage by paying them shitty wages. Make them pay tens of thousands of dollars in fines on top of restitution pay to the actual worker if they are caught doing this.
