I think we agree on this. I can't speak for the people you mention, but there are plenty of militant theists and people get irritated and push back.

You should read more about dark matter and dark energy. Let me help you:

    http://www.skyandtelescope.com/astronomy-resources/end-of-the-universe/
Not according to observations first made with the Hubble Space Telescope in 1998. These observations of supernovae in distant galaxies indicate that the universe is expanding at an ever-increasing rate. Cosmologists explain this startling observation with dark energy, a mysterious force that appears to counteract gravity’s pull, instead accelerating the universe’s expansion. The nature of dark energy is one of the most pressing questions in modern cosmology — answering it would provide new insight into the fate of the universe. In one scenario, where dark energy’s negative pressure increases over time, the universe would ultimately rip apart.

Regardless of whether this Big Rip scenario actually takes place, we do know that accelerated cosmological expansion will ultimately carry other galaxies out of our view.

Agreed and understood. There are literally thousands of denominations of Christianity, but the loudest ones think theirs is the only "true religion" and seek to shut down anyone who believes otherwise.

I'd say the world is full of cults today. Atheists, progressives, conservatives, antifa, BLM, white supremes(lol), and feminists. They are all cults.

Religion is hope for the people, which the others do not have in great supply.

But physicists and cosmologists are not unanimous in the thought that a cyclic universe has been disproved by dark energy/matter, especially considering how little we know about it.

    Huh? what dodge?
. words mean things. Atheism means lack of belief in a god or gods.
    non sequitor
no, I schooled you in logic.
not sure how directly addressing your post is dodging? the "huh" portions were my confusion as to what you are referring to. In other words, please clarify those statements, as they didn't make any sense.

He didn't write his own, he just cut out the morally reprehensible parts and the the parts that appealed to supernaturalism.

    Look again.

The only thing morally reprehensible about the bible is most folks understanding of it.

Religion is a mental disorder for the ones who suffer of a mental disorder ... the problem is that they don't realize to be suffering of a mental disorder ...

Not if you have a problem with slavery and infanticide or you value things like freedom of religion and individualism. The God of the Bible is described as more evil than any human who has ever existed.

It's those who do not understand the bible that say and believe those things.

I do. Now are you really going to pretend infanticide and slavery are okay and that it is morally good to punish one person for the actions of another or are you so unfamiliar with the Bible that you are going to try to claim those things aren't in there?

I'm going to claim most don't understand the bible.

Where are your posts against abortion? You cannot be against infanticide and be for abortion at the same time. It's hypocritical and illogical.

Which doesn't answer the question. If you are familiar with the Bible, you know it says God commanded infanticide and slavery and punished people for the actions of others. And you know it has nothing to do with "understanding", just basic literacy.

Please post chapter and verse numbers so I can take a look at why God might have wanted this done. I can't read his mind, but I can try to interpret for you or look it up for you.

Translation: you'll try to make excuses and rewrite the verses to make them palatable.

Genesis 9:20-27 - In the first time slavery is mentioned in the Bible, God sentences Canaan into slavery for the crime of his father.
1 Samuel 15:2-3 - God orders the murder of children to punish them for what their ancestors did generations before.

And of course there are dozens of other examples in the Bible of God punishing people for the actions of others.

okay.. here goes... Imagine Elijah here today. Imagine the Jezebel and King Ahab making all of Israel to turn to Ba'al worship. 3000 persons in Israel are refusing and so they seek shelter. And Elijah is a prophet of God in Israel.

Imagine Elijah here today. He says

Funny... I was just thinking... Neuroscientists, scientists and any in any field of Science which believes such things should be asked this question.

The language that you speak and relay messages in.... Have you ever asked the first people who spoke those languages what their opinions on the matter was or is?

What these modern scientists are basically saying is that all persons who were living before modern science were all mentally ill.

It is so strange.... The ONLY Nation in which these sorts of arguments are a topic of conversation and debate and even enough concern to effect the general population is The U.S. (so I would think)

There are no other neuroscientists, in any other Country, which publish articles and studies and journals pertaining to such needless ideas, right?

    Besides, maybe, Myanmar.

    Check this out...

Last fall, we ran a story about Indonesian presidental hopeful Joko Widodo. Joko loves bands like Metallica, Napalm Death and Led Zeppelin, and he was hoping to run the Indonesian government.

The results are in and Joko is the next president of Indonesia. Joko got 53.15% of the vote while rival Prabowo Subianto only received 46.85%. Joko was accused of electoral fraud by his rival, but after a vote recount was cleared of all doubts.
