    It means, as Trump has been pointing out for months, that everyone will be getting to keep more of their own money - and that would include the wealthy as well as the middle class. This is not breaking news.

    The top rate goes from 39.6 to 38.5, a smaller rate change than the lower rates.

    What you don't understand is that professionals will evolve ways of having their earnings classified as corporate income with the plethora of deductions available and lower tax rate.

    This is a known consequence of taxpayer behavior when corporate taxes are lower than personal taxes and many countries have imposed changes to their tax laws to fight the corporatization of personal income.

    The only way that is practically possible is to own your own business. You know, those people that actually hire other people? It's a rare individual that incorporates and doesn't have at least one or two employees.

    The problem with service providers incorporating is that they split the income. A professional such as a lawyer or doctor incorporates and his first employee is his otherwise unemployed wife, next is his otherwise unemployed children. Income is split so that effectively no tax is paid and all the corporate medical insurance payments are tax deductible, and as much as possible of personal goods are bought from company tax-deductible monies which then give further tax benefits with depreciation.

    I like these rich bastards, who all swore they wanted to pay more taxes during the Bush Administration, getting their SALT deduction capped. But, then I found out that that Harvard and half dozen of the richest US colleges get to start paying taxes of those massive endowment pools they have been sitting on... and now I can't decide which part I like better!

    Paying your fair share!

    You anti-Trumpers, if you have any integrity, will refuse the tax cut and mail in the extra money to the Treasury with a note on the memo line: "Up Yours GOP, I don't want your damn tax cut!".

    Post a picture of your check when you do your taxes so we can all celebrate your integrity!

    I'm saying if you have an ounce of integrity, given your deeply held convictions, that you should refuse any tax cut you might be getting and donate it back to the US Treasury, as is your right under US law. Just put a memo on the check: "Screw You GOP, I don't want your damn tax cut!"
