    what is arrogance?

Arrogance is, to me, having a job, being employed, being provided with payments and not doing your job duties right but still expecting the benefits as a person who does.

    Rightful pay to rightful workers...

Counselors get paid to listen and give good counsel.
Doctors get paid to investigate and find good remedies.

Individuals get paid based on what they are doing to earn a reward, value worth, as a 'worker'.

Of course being employed by Bosses that don't care if a person does their job right or not but still getting paid is up to their own individual Private Business Policies.

That isn't arrogance. That is arguably a form of free riding.

That isn't the arrogant part. The arrogant part is expecting to be given a free ride just because they show up to work.

Even at certain 'parties'... Someone expects party favors just because they showed up.

What else? Stores? Someone expects to be treated with proper customer service just because they showed up?

I don't know about this one.. The arrogance might fall on the Store Workers and not the customers unless the Store policy is based on Worker discretion as to 'service'.

What major store is like that besides the local convenience stores? WalMart? KMart? Sears? Footlocker? what else?

Unlike convenient stores, the others have company policies that they 'try' to keep somewhat in working order. Sometimes not as well as they could but that's why they often times 'go under' for not keeping to their own policies. And alot of the weight of profit losses fall on the Heads, such as the Leadership team members, for having certain 'stores' fall through due to poor 'customer service'. And yes.. even Leadership Team members can be let go of their employment with the Company.

Still no arrogance. At worst, bad manners. Arrogance would be akin to "I deserve to be a billionaire, I've worked for it,". It's about exaggerating self importance and hiding from external luck factors denied to Joe Pleb.
