Impregnating a body through rape is seizing control of another's body. That's why rational anti abortionists make rape one of the exceptions.
So then you do believe that the right to life should trump body sovereignty? So if someone needs a kidney and you are the only available potential donor, they can have the government force you to give them a kidney?
So then you agree that fetuses have no right to force a woman to surrender her body to protect their life.
NO, YOU keep going around in circles, denying facts, unable to answer questions, unable face logic, unable to address points in my posts... Stop going around in circles and answer the question: So you believe that if another person needs a heart or a kidney to keep them alive they have the right to force you to give them yours....?
But that isn't rational.......the abortion procedure and outcome in the case of rape is exactly the same as the abortion procedure and outcome of abortion due to consensual sex. IF it is the fetus they are concerned about they would make no exceptions. The fact that some Anti-Choicers make exception for rape is because they feel women who have consensual sex should be punished by being forced to gestate.....but not if the sex was rape.
You are pulling some very strange words out of your liberal lexicon “Body sovereignty?” Thats not only original but funny also This rest of your desperate rant is too silly to argue with Why do you bother if that is the best you can think of?
And YOU complained about going around in circles? !!! Now show EXACTLY WHERE I EVER SAID A HUMAN FETUS WASN'T HUMAN. You can't because I never did so we're back to all YOUR denials... And here's the question you could answer if you really wanted to quit going around in circles : So you believe that if another person needs a heart or a kidney to keep them alive they have the right to force you to give them yours....? You could answer that instead of trying to change the subject into claiming I said things I never did...which seems to be your ONLY answer to anything ...
Or you could just answer his question....it's a pretty easy question and one you seem to want to avoid for some reason....is it INCONVENIENT ? """"So if someone needs a kidney and you are the only available potential donor, they can have the government force you to give them a kidney?"" Yes or no ????
Since you concede that unborn children are human then I will tell you that innocent humans deserve to live

I don't have to "concede" anything, I have NEVER said that a human fetus isn't human, that is your "misrepresentation". WHY can't you answer this question? Why are you so desperately avoiding it? So you believe that if another person needs a heart or a kidney to keep them alive they have the right to force you to give them yours....? How is it wrong? Just saying it's an assumption doesn't make it an assumption especially when I gave facts. You tell me why some Anti-Choicers make exception for rape.
I do not misunderstand anything. Either the right to life trumps body sovereignty or it doesn't. Where do you stand?
Body sovereignty is an established legal concept and has been for more than a century. Its why the government can't forcibly take your organs from your body even if you are a corpse.
IMO it is possible you do not know the difference between fact and your assumptions/ I am not prepared to conduct a study on this, but IMO most want to preserve the right to abortion in rape cases because the impregnated woman clearly did not choose to engage in the activity that resulted in her pregnancy. IMO, however, many do feel that the choice to become pregnant is one that needs to occur prior to the baby-generating activity, and that women who engage in unprotected sex are committing a heedless and callous path that is often costly to all of us, since they usually demand public financing of the result. Many of us do not want to see our funds used this way.

What you just said agrees with me....the fetus is NOT the primary concern, NOT the "life" they say they are so "Pro" for... Their primary concern is forcing women to gestate if they enjoyed the sex.....YOU just said so. You say they want public financing of the "result" . What result? The abortion? No, you don't pay for that (AGAIN , it isn't that "PRECIOUS LIFE"" IT'S YOUR POCKETBOOK you're worried about ) You sometimes DO PAY for the result when it's a kid the woman can't afford or didn't want...you DO pay for that.... Now, try again to explain what is wrong about the following statement? """.......the abortion procedure and outcome in the case of rape is exactly the same as the abortion procedure and outcome of abortion due to consensual sex.""" It IS POSSIBLE YOU THINK THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN ASSUMPTION BUT NO FACTS. IF it is the fetus they are concerned about they would make no exceptions. SO, YES, it is the punishing of the woman that is paramount to them ......NOT the life of the fetus.... (Oh, and their pocketbook but NOT the fetus)
SARCASM ALERT: Ya, BEING RAPED has NOTHING to do with a woman's life.... she shouldn't actually die but she should pay for being raped.....
We are NOT talking about harvesting organs, we are talking about forcing another to give an organ WHILE ALIVE what YOU want women to have to do even though YOU don't ever have to....and NO one else has to do.... NO one has the right to demand another person use their body to sustain their life. Did you READ that ? YOU want the fetus to have that right.....a right NO one else has...
FoxHastings: SARCASM ALERT: Ya, BEING RAPED has NOTHING to do with a woman's life.... she shouldn't actually die but she should pay for being raped..... Leave it to you to say something so totally irrelevant to try to disguise the fact you have no answer. NEITHER HAS THE WOMAN and SHE has rights and the zygote does NOT..... Too bad those FACTS frighten you but they can't be denied. Was post 248 a little too tough to address?
