Encouraging the two sides to work something out and compromise is good. I'm glad to see Trump working in this manner.

“If we do this properly – DACA – we’re not that far away from comprehensive immigration reform,” the President said at one point. “And if you take it that further step, I’ll take the heat, I don’t care.”

I like that attitude. Get it done, and I'll take the heat.

Never. Obama TALKED about compromise but it was obvious to everyone but his leftist worshipers that what he MEANT was that the Right had to do things all his way. Obama was a radical leftist by training -- all his mentors were radical leftists -- and by inclination whereas Trump is a businessman.

How quickly you Trump loving righties forgot when Obama told McCain that he won the Presidency, not him when he hosted the GOP to discuss Health Care.

Wait. y'all didn't forget, you are hoping everyone else did. LOL

    Except that he did.

He even stood in front of the entire GOP and answered questions. He even answered the GOP lapdog Media's stupid ass questions too.

Has Trump even sat through a CNN interview since he won?

What is he afraid of? Obama sat through numerous FOX News hosts interviews.

"Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s frustration over the Republican Party’s behavior since the election brings to mind a famous quote from President Obama following his 2008 win: “Elections have consequences.”

He made the remark in a closed-door meeting at the White House in 2009, where Republicans had hoped to negotiate with him regarding the specifics of his stimulus package in response to the financial crisis. Initially, the president showed interest in what Republicans had to say, but his tone changed when it got down to the nitty gritty.

“Elections have consequences,” he told then number two Republican Rep. Eric Cantor. “And at the end of the day, I won. So I think on that one I trump you.”"

Kinda shut up all the liberal leftists who suffer from Trump derangement syndrome and claim he is mentally unfit for the office.......he was totally in charge of an important bipartisan meeting.......commanding, in charge, funny, reasonable and seeking solutions to a difficult policy decision. The left will need to come up with another 'Trump crisis' tomorrow......CNN hasn't let me down in over a year........I'm sure they will work late into the night to manufacture some sort of nonsense by the time Cuomo comes on in the morning........

I don't value compromise. I don't respect people who are willing to make too many of them.

Only under the good gracious of the United States, they have no right to be here. So are you willing to trade that for Trumps boarder policy?

Trump needs to admit the wall will not be an end all for illegal immigration, as he thinks it will. Even border guards have said it will work in some places, it won’t work in some places. $18 million out of yours and my pockets. That and Trump making the pledge these people will never face deportation on camera, and then we can start talking about a trade.

$18 billion is a drop in the bucket compared to what illegals cost the American taxpayers each year........

My point is why waste money on something that will be not that effective?

Didn't look unstable to me. Seemed to be in charge and receptive. The guy's a negotiator; good at what he does.

Dreamers. Where do you guys come up with all the cute sounding names that defy reality? Dreamers, women's health, affordable healthcare, undocumented workers, the list never seems to end. Just call things what they are; illegal aliens, abortions, vote buying, and more illegal aliens.
