It would be dumb to make the same mistake Reagan did with dishonest Democrats who said give us what we want now and we will give you what you want later. How'd that work out? "I will gladly pay you Thursday for a hamburger today".

And the Democrats found a thriving economy with full employment and a stockmarket in the 14000 when they took control with the Congress in 2007 and a year later we had that recession and 7000 deficit and 7.4% unemployment and then taking the White House too and even with the stimulus took unemployment to that double digit and kept over 9% for the next 3 years. Forutnately the Republicans began taking back control in 2012 first with the House and then with the Senate in 2015 and stop the further damage and now with Trump in place we arare finally seeing a full recovery.

That meeting was a joke, nothing more than political theater. After the meeting both sides were scratching their heads on what Trumps position actually was and when asked in the press briefing about the wall they deflected everytime to just saying increased border security.

No. Because you see, I don't watch television to get my news. I prefer reading what is happening in the World from many available resources. Although I have to admit, I do enjoy watching FOX News on Election nights and also because they have hotter Big Ole Titty Ladies with fantastic legs.

 

Obama and Fox had a war, but it was kinda a cold war where they both knew they hated each other but at least tolerated each other.

Trump has basically won the presidency by calling out CNN and the "fake media" that his supporters also hate.

But I agree that I can't watch any of the news stations anymore. Fox used to have a Right lean to it and they were tolerable. But since O'reilly and Megan got taken off they have gone full tilt Right Wing hysteria with people like Tucker Carlson who I can't freaking stand. He is easily as bad as Rachael Maddow.

They are now the mirror image of CNN and MSNBC, no media is worth watching anymore IMO

LOL yesterdays meeting was not about immigration, anyone who thinks it was is a idiot. He manipulated the Dems and the press into helping him defuse the Fire and Fury book. Trump sat there and looked mature and competent leader in complete control of the meeting. Poised, attentive, agreeable, accommodating and just the opposite of Michael Wolff's fairy tale hit piece
