    WTF.....is he thinking. He don't need to get in the race. Ward is a far Right nut and McSally would coast to victory and crush the Demo who steps up. Sorry I can't go for OLD Sherriff Joe as a Senator. What say ye?



    Republican Joe Arpaio, a close ally of President Trump and former sheriff known for his provocative approach to combatting illegal immigration, is running for Senate in Arizona.

    The 85-year-old Arpaio could shake up the late August Republican primary in a critical open-seat race to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz. Trump pardoned Arpaio last summer, sparing the former sheriff jail time after he was convicted of ignoring a federal court order in a racial-profiling case......snip~

    At 85 years of age, Joe should go into retirement. Time for the Greatest Generation to move on.

    Sheriff Joe has a legacy as one of the best county Sheriffs to ever keep the peace and uphold the oath of office to enforce and defend the American Constitution.

    I see that Fox News just gave this story coverage along with a panel. Guess who's behind pushing Joe to run for the Senate ? Steve Bannon !

    Bannon could be poison.

    Bannon is if he is looking to split Repubs up.....as he is playing patsy for the Demos then.

    People forget that Sherriff Joe retired from the DEA. 20 years in. Then became the Toughest Sherriff in the US. I remember Rolling Stone Mag did a major take down on him.

    It's not obvious to me so fill me in. Which needed quality, ideology and experience would he bring to the Senate of the USA?

    If Bannon supports Joe, which I didn't realize, I need to take a second look at what Bannon stands for. Arpaio is a great man....old or not. Don't know if he can do the job at his age, but that's not my point.

    Looks like someone is getting their peppermint in a twist. yikes lol

    He has zero chance to win.

    All that he "brings to the table" is the Carnival Freak aspect that might provide Comic Relief should he actually be invited to debate.
