    Nobody has claimed these walls could not be scaled. Only that it's very time consuming and obvious when one does place a ladder on the wall, climbs up, pulls the ladder up behind him, and then carefully climbs down the other side. There's a reason why prisons and old castles have large walls.

    If for no other reason than only one person at a time can do this (if they manage to accomplish the goal at all) illegal immigration must necessarily be greatly diminished because the days of large packs of illegals all climbing through a hole in a fence or under it are gone!

    But I guess smart people like your lot already figured this out...right? :no:

    Did you miss the mass exodus of Libyans heading for Europe ... by boat?
    All a wall like this does is redirect traffic.

    The only way to keep illegals from wanting to come it to get their own economies cranking. But Trump has completely pulled back from that dialogue. Hell, he won't even help the Americans in Puerto Rico, so now they are flocking to Florida, and they are pissed at Trump ... that's going to hurt when Florida goes blue in 2020 ... maybe you Trump FanBoys need to think ahead in the future.

    Most of the wall will be in remote desert areas that are now off limits to camping and hiking due to the extreme danger from illegal immigration. Recently I was at organ pipe cactus national Park and there was warning signs about hiking or camping anywhere near the border saying do so at your own risk. Maybe these areas will be safe again for recreational use. There's going to be a lot of trash to pick up though from decades of illegals crossing through the area.

    The corruption in PR isn't something you can argue. It is both systemic and endemic to PR. We pour 20 billion a year into PR and take about 5 billion in taxes from them.

    PR has never been self-sustaining, it's leadership is corrupt, and it has always been that way.
