    True. Some are holding out to see the final version, and some are not happy with some of the funding that the bill contains in it's present version.

    However, none of that has anything to do with Schumer adding DACA to the bill the House passed.

    That was done to blackmail Republicans and create election year talking points. Schumer's Shutdown is simply the usual Dem politics in an election year.

    all republicans have to do is protect the dreamers to re-open the government, why do they want to keep the government closed rather then protect the dreamers?

    Trump put them in this position by his actions, Trump needs to let republicans in congress know what he wants

    Right. All Republicans have to do is give in to Schumer's blackmail. I think that's asking a bit much.

    There are many issues attached to DACA that need to be resolved. Why do Dems refuse to deal with border security as a part of resolving the DACA issue?

    All those bit's and pieces need to be worked out. In the mean time, the government needs to pass another CR in order to continue to operate.

    Schumer apparently doesn't care about that.

    Nonsense. Everyone knows by now that Chuckie Schumer's filibuster grandstanding was almost 100% about forcing a wedge in favor of 'amnesty' for illegal aliens. Oh, and the timing of this Libocrat schauspiel was exquisite -- designed to coincide with the 'Women's March' (which was subverted by rabid Democrats into another "let's all hate Trump" extravaganza), and Trump's first official year in office.

    The truly sad thing is that, ultimately, you on the hyperliberal Left will be successful in destroying the United States and turning our own country into a 'shithole'. You've been working like ants to achieve the ruin of this country ever since you took over Congress in January 2007, and after this November's election, you can laugh while you spitefully continue digging our national grave....
