    Oh very familiar? then why can't you answer your own question? Boy you demonstrated that all banks have problems with money laundering, considering its almost a trillion dollar annual "industry". Did that come as a revelation to you just like the primer you requested.

    The quality of your questions demonstrate you truly don't know. Unless of course you are deliberately attempting to see how much I know about this.

    Banks have a difficult time uncovering money laundering because of two primary reasons. The first is the difficulty of doing it given limited legal access to all and any records not within their purview and second because its a weak motivation considering "MONEY" is their business and those dollars can't be discerned from general funds so they actually BENEFIT from it. OTOH, a federal government criminal investigation is an entirely different kettle of fish.

    Do I have to do all your thinking for you, considering this is a topic you are claim you know something about and all?

    Undoubtedly so - I don't see how few hundred thousand dollars have swayed election away from Hillary, destined to be erected into the White House, unless she was flawed beyond salvation. I mean, to lose to Trump, who did not want to become president to begin with :frustrated:

    well ya see right there you just displayed that you really don't have a clue. It wasn't just few hundred thousand dollars in advertising, not even remotely. You neglected to mention the 10,000 bots and and small army of paid trolls and the disinformation factory and the targetting apparatus and the dark money to fund partisan and single issue ads. So you are just parroting the pap and disinformation in defense of the serious threat that russia interference actually was and is.

    But perhaps you haven't see the new NATIONAL DEFENSE POLICY that clearly states in no uncertain terms russia has attacked and continues to attack the US in new unconventional battlespaces, that just so happens to include this whole "russian hoax" thing.

    Wonder what they know that neither you nor trump does?

    Well ya, you and I can argue who has received more negative publicity - Hillary or Trump, all these Russian bots notwithstanding. And I’m just as patriotic as the next guy - I just don’t see any discernible difference with russkies meddling in our elections or not - Hillary should not have lost to Trump and she did. The difference is not russkie, it’s us, teh deplorables :)

    Having said this, the russkies did not do anything we do not do. Meddling in foreign politics is fair game for all. Be open minded about it.
