The number 1 cause of death for black males age 15-34 in the use is homicide. Almost 50% of their deaths are murder, usually at the hands of another black male. Homicide is also on the list for white males in those age groups, but it's #3 for 15-24 and less than 9%. For 25-34, it's #5 at 5.3%.
