Trump compared the top law enforcement agency in the country to Nazi Germany. He is also the single biggest reason that Republicans now have a mostly unfavorable opinion of the top law enforcement agency in the country.

That is not someone who likes cops.

 

Unfortunately the top Republicans - McConnell and Ryan - have decided to give Trump a pass for his threats against Mueller and the FBI.

The Trump administration could most likely surpass the Warren G. Harding administration as the most corrupt one in the history of the US. That will most likely be trumps claim to fame when all is said and done.

Asking Comey about Flynn was far better than what many argue he could've legally done: He could've legally told Comey to drop the investigation in its entirety, and he would've had no choice but to comply with the Presidential Order. Instead, he meekly asked Comey.

And yes, that investigator should reasonably be expected to be loyal to the POTUS. After all, he is the POTUS. Unfortunately, from the very beginning Comey showed Trump he couldn't be faithful by not destroying a false document("the dossier") when it came into the FBI's possession. Furthermore, the FBI itself did not make a public statement defending the integrity of the President.

From the beginning of the Trump Administration, Comey showed he was unfaithful and deserved to be terminated. We also know this unfaithful 'servant' of the country lied to Congress. So on many occasions, he has shown his contempt for the system he was supposed to protect.

I understand why Mueller would want to bat for his close associate, but why do Democrats care? They wanted the disloyal rat gone as much as Trump did.

And it was for that reason specifically(that he told the POTUS he wasn't under investigaton, but refused to tell Congress) THAT is why he was fired. He was indeed fired because he was an unloyal, unpatriotic bastard. And we don't need those type of individuals in State.

State is no longer a place for the Comey's, McCabe's and the Powers's. It's for earnest, honest people who can serve our country with distinction and to whom we and any elected President can trust wholeheartedly. At least, someone who will countering fake propaganda will destroy it to prevent the President from being damaged by it.

The law(Constitution) legally empowers Trump to be President as he won the election. To be loyal to Trump, is the same thing as being loyal to the US Constitution. You'd think that'd be simple, but unfortunately as many people don't accept him as President they don't feel the need to give him the same respect.

And Comey was among those. However, like any other idiot that bites their boss, he's now out of a job. That part at least, everyone should understand.
