The Collingwood Football Club is deep in negotiations with the Melbourne Racing Club over a ground-breaking deal that would see the Magpies sell their lucrative poker machine venue
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-02-...-south-china-sea-in-defiance-of-china/9483828 Deep in the South China Sea the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, USS Carl Vinson, has a point to make. "It shows resolve, and gives decision space to our leaders," the ship's commanding officer, Captain Doug Verissimo, said. "When they put a carrier strike group somewhere it helps to show that the United States is interested. Ps. This is a BIG boat!
But will love overcome bias when your duel citizen has to deal with the country of their other citizenship? The bottom line is that the constitution is the rule book, you cannot just ignore it when it suits you to do so which is exactly what these pollies have knowingly been doing. What other rules that don't suit them have they been ignoring?
Exactly, if the duel citizenships were with North Korea, Iraq, Iran etc it would be a different kettle of fish. If you truly wanted to serve Australia, giving up foreign citizenship should not be an issue.
From the ABC Rocket launcher among 57,000 firearms surrendered in gun amnesty ABC News Thousands of automatic rifles, handguns and even a rocket launcher are among the weapons handed in during last year's National Firearms Amnesty. Apparently it was found at a local tip!
How sensible and awe inspiring is this? https://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/he...ttack-and-saved-his-life-20180309-p4z3ks.html
He is dizzy and in pain and yet still pulls that off is a testament to his training and his will power.
Has anyone seen this new Get up campaign? Thanks to recent reporting in The Guardian, here's what we know.5 Last month Dutton met with one of Australia's largest gun dealers and members of the Shooting Industry Foundation of Australia (SIFA). SIFA donated to Liberal and National MPs for the 2016 federal election and heavily to minor rightwing parties in last year's Queensland election. Dutton is considering their proposal for a "firearms advisory council" that would allow SIFA to "review proposed regulatory changes" to gun laws. According to Gun Control Australia, these are essentially "gun lobby thinktanks" within government.
Hidden image ------------------------------------------------------ No. But, I believe it. Does that count? YOU guys should deny foreign ownership of real estate. Thus spaketh Moi
What does " hidden image" mean? Didn't the image appear? And yes, I agree that we shouldn't sell off our land.
What got me was the arrogant so and so who wrote this obviously lives in a capital city. We HAVE to use tenectoplase because the nearest Cath lab where they can do rescue angioplasty is four and a half hours away. And yes it is awe inspiring but it also underscores why Gayles law should ne national. The days of the single Nurse stations should be gone the way of the dinosaur
If he is thinking about loosening gun legislation he will meet with a backlash the likes of which he could not dream about
Hidden as in click here to view attachment. Moi cured that. y'welcome. Remember that about not selling real estate to non Aussies when you run for office. Become your nation's Marine Le Pen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Le_Pen Australia for Australians and maybe a few aborigines.
thank you, what was I doing wrongly, so that the image wouldn't take?, Remember that about not selling real estate to non Aussies when you run for office. Become your nation's Marine Le Pen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Le_Pen Australia for Australians and maybe a few aborigines.[/QUOTE] No, I'm not running for office. It would be very stressful and I don't deal with stress very well.
Im not up in cardiac rescue stuff- it sounded pretty good to me. The story about Gayle on Australian Story was terribly sad. The accused bloke shouldn't have been allowed out with his history.
He was not allowed out he was dumped back on his community and it should absolutely never ever have happened With the cardiac stuff and most medical the problem is that the metropolitan areas have no idea how thin the resources are out in the bush. Give you an idea West of the Great divide in Queensland. That is taking in everything west od Toowoomba There is less than a handful of obstetricians, one maybe two Paediatricians and no orthopaedic surgeon, no cardiologist, no endocrinologist, and the list is almost endless
The bush always misses out. I know that my small home town with a bush nursing hospital has an ongoing problem with attracting GPs. We are within 80 miles of a district hospital with casualty etc, so can't complain really.
