Black kid almost shot dead in lily-white Michigan suburb for asking for directions

The whole bunch of ya would need depends, to go to some of the parties I have been to, where I was only a few white folks.

I went with workmates to one, and CAESAR had tried to get me a checker position. There, I said how CAesar had told me that most don't get promoted from hardlines. ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the white kids got up, left the room, left the party and thought I would get lynched. They thought I would get killed, for implying that he was an affirmative hire.
Caesar was black.

After I stood my ground, and they understood I want racist, they said, you are cool, your friends are cowards.

I think folks smell fear, and snowflake on you guys. They can tell you are soft. Use Trump as an example, and bluff. Bluff you have guts. Bluff you have courage. Bluff you aren't afraid.

 

Seen a vid now. He and his mother are both well spoken, well mannered. That's the kind of kid you would go out of your way to help.

Good point, at some point us geezers are going to have to be told, we cant dictate all the social terms of life here. We are telling the youth to shut up, stay out of things. WE think ours, is the only opinion that should be acted upon.

This event was extremely sickening and it's a reason why the stereotyping of young black men that some people do on message boards and in other venues can be dangerous.

Didn't the homeowners know how to rationally assess the situation? Who just starts firing on a person who knocks on their door? Would this have happened if the kid were white? Is this what is meant by white priviledge? People need to think rationally, instead of being trigger happy.

 

It's only half of the equation. I was visiting my "lily white sisters" in Detroit with my "lily white wife" and I wished to go to visit the house I was raised in and show it to my wife. My sisters raised so much hell about me going into what was now a " black beauty orchid" neighborhood that they actually stood in my way and told me that I could easily lose my live or be car-jacked. That's just the way it is in some neighborhoods. Not much has changed in the last 50 years has it?

 

Don't the trigger happy homeowner and delirious wife live in a suburb of Detroit?

 

I know people who live in a pretty good neighborhood who have a huge German schrank braced up against the front door (on the inside), the door which they no longer use, because they've been mugged, and they're afraid of any young male whomever.

WE need an emergency number kids can call, if they miss a bus, or get lost, or in some way need help. Or a button on every block etc. Cuz the kids are likely to get killed, if they need help and all there are is white people. Maybe a Caucasian tax, for lilly white neighborhoods, to fund the buttons required to keep our children from being murdered.
