    Was it the same employee?
    How did they ask? (I stopped at a Starbucks and had to use the restroom. I asked "Is it okay if I use the restroom before I order?" She said "No problem"and gave me the code.) I can't help but notice that the white guy was still there making a purchase after using the restroom. Perhaps he made it known that he was a paying customer.

    When he was told the restroom was for customers only, his reply did not give the impression that he was going to make a purchase. He became argumentative and created a scene.

    Threre was a homeless guy sitting on the sidewalk outside a Starbucks using the free WiFi. They asked him to leave and he did. Do you need to know the color of his skin before commenting on whether or not their actions were justified?
