Why is the right afraid of Comey, and why do they fixate on Hillary?

Um . . . even Comey when pushed admitted that Trump is quite intelligent and mentally stable. He just thinks that Trump is as anti-ethical as -- say -- the Right thought Barack Obama was. Remember that currently the Left is officially in love with Comey again; and so you will have to wait until leftist MSM wonks and the Dem Party leadership once again reverse themselves regarding James Comey before criticizing HIS interpretation of . . . Trump. There are unwritten leftitst lock step rules about such things.

Were any leftist actually capable of being wholly honest they would admit that two things about Trump is EVIL. First he easily beat Hillary Clinton for the presidency after leftist allied polling companies told this nation that Hillary was easily going to win the presidential election and then there is the fact that Trump is happily erasing Obama's revolting presidential 'legacy' via one Pen and Phone executive order at a time. Either or both are enough to inspire any good leftist to label Trump an existential threat to our democracy.

You have to be joking. Allow me to present some recent examples.

Many have learned to ignore Trump's pronouncements for various reasons. They are foolish, counter-productive, senseless, dangerous, embarrassing or a combination of all of above.

Another reason is because Trump ignores important personages in his administration. Take the case of Nikki Haley which transpired over the weekend and on into Tuesday. Once again, Trump made a complete fool of himself by changing his mind. This has become a habit with him.

The US ambassador to the United Nations hit the Sunday talk show circuit and said the US would level new sanctions the next day targeting Russian companies that facilitated the Syrian regime's chemical weapons program.

Prior to making this call Haley was informed of this decision by the Trump White House. She may even have played a role in the decision. She is a tough cookie. One thing is for sure. The U.N. ambassador does not set American foreign policy. The President does that.

The sanctions were not imposed. Trump changed his mind and his U.N. ambassador was not in the loop. Carelessly, Trump simply threw Haley under the bus. Ostensibly, Haley made a fool of herself. That is not true. It is quite clear Trump made a fool of himself. The chaos in the White House continues. Still another reason Trump cannot be respected.

Several administration officials said Haley got ahead of Trump. That is ludicrous. "She got ahead of the curve," National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow told reporters on Tuesday a day after Trump "put the brakes" on plans for new Russia sanctions. "She's done a great job, she's a very effective ambassador. There might have been some momentary confusion about that," Kudlow added.

Haley struck back with a stunning statement later in the day that opened a new rift in the administration and raised questions about the White House's explanation of her comments. "With all due respect, I don't get confused," she said.

Another reason Trump's orders are ignored is, how can one respect a man who lives in a dream world?

Trump tweeted, "Mike Pompeo met with Kim Jong Un in North Korea last week. Meeting went very smoothly and a good relationship was formed." Details of Summit are being worked out now. Denuclearization will be a great thing for World, but also for North Korea!"

Trump is dreaming. Kim is not going to give up his nuclear weapons. To him, denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula would be an existential threat to his regime.

Do not take my word for it. Bill Richardson is a former U.S. ambassador to the U.N., has been to North Korea several times, and has met with Kim's father on multiple occasions. He appeared on Fox News today and flat out said North Korea is not going to denuclearize. He went on to say the only way that would be accomplished is a land war.

The other problem in trying to take Trump seriously is Trump does not take Trump seriously.

Trump tweeted today, "Slippery James Comey, the worst FBI Director in history, was not fired because of the phony Russia investigation where, by the way, there was NO COLLUSION (except by the Dems)!"

See, now that is very funny. Trump told Lester Holt before a national television audience the Russian thing was on his mind when he fired Comey. In the Oval Office he told two Russian dignitaries that he got rid of the "nut job." “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off,” Trump told them.

See what I mean? No one can take a man like this seriously.

HillBill and Comey are not so much feared as used, they are the fallback reactionary target when TrumpHumpers are confronted with the possibility of beginning to actually think about the deficiencies or issues with their hero. This has become an ingrained and established tool required to maintain the illusion in their minds.

 

Allow me. No one is afraid of Comey, he keeps digging himself into a deeper hole, why should anyone stop him. Hillary is personally involved in the Trump/Russian collusion investigation so she's justifiably a target of any wrong doing.
