How does that differentiate between arming tellers and janitors in a bank from arming teachers and lunch ladies in a school?

Banks already have armed guards. Think about it. Nevertheless if someone is qualified and can apply their knowledge/skill in an appropriate tactical manner why not?

 

I know several teachers who are lifetime NRA members and carry everywhere outside of school. My teacher brother is getting his LTC next month.

As an addendum, the tactical situation in a bank is different from protecting a school full of kids from a mass shooter.

There are just so many times that the NRA and their friends have declared that a firearm will solve your problem.

 

People rob banks for money and the philosophy is let them have the money and don't cause any shooting. School shooters come in shooting so it's an apples oranges comparison.

 

To the Democratic Party, "sensible gun control" means only criminals have guns and everyone else is defenseless. It is part of their "It is every citizen's duty to not resist being a victim of violence" ideology.

Most people never will need a gun. Of those who find a situation where they do, they would trade everything the own - ever dollar, every personal item, to have a gun.

People are just cattle to the Democratic Party and in their view there are too many in the herd anyway. The more killed off the better. They just can not outright say it. Thus you find they will used selective facts about the herd to make their case, while Republicans tend to point to incidents involving individuals - and point to the right to self defense and defense of loved ones.

 

School administrations - too many. Eliminate one for each police officer at a school.

 

Once again, we see the real goal of most Democrats actually is total ban of legal ownership of ANY firearm. All the talk that the Democratic Party does not want to take away people's guns is outright false. That is exactly their goal. They know it. Everyone knows it.

Don't forget the SS office, we have armed guards there to! We wouldn't want our precious Gubmint worker harmed. but the children, meh!

 

I’ve had all of those happen( except no tighty whiteys) and nobody was harmed. The black kid was selling stuff as a high school football fundraiser. I really don’t like salesmen, but he survived. My neighbors are as armed as we are and we get along great. I get cut off a lot in traffic also.
