    Fantastic!

Dick's made a horrible business decision and the fallout isn't going to be good for them.

they sold AR-15's, they stopped selling them, but still sell other guns, I see no problem with that, that is unless your were a 18 year old looking to buy a ar-15 from them

most people could care less they stopped selling ar-15's

if a store selling ar-15's is important to one, find a store that sells them and take your business there

kinda funny calling a store that sells guns anti-guns

For sane people, this is good news for a retailer that made a responsible decision any business should’ve made. Sane people play tennis and golf or cross country, while unhinged mountain men cling to their rifles. Dicks will do just fine.

Making an effort to stop bloodshed is not Anti-American. In fact, it’s one of the most American choices you can make.

They made no such effort. They are attemtping to gun grab and it backfired. An attempt to stop bloodshed would be holding thr FBI accountable for dropping the ball. Weve seen no such thing from the left so spare us the bloodshed bs.

Taking these bloodshed instruments off the shelves contributes to the overall effort that has been led by the survivors of the Parkland Shooting. Dicks isn’t gun grabbing either, that’s another excuse.

Obviously the gun companies condone massacres.

How are they helping to prevent such weapons being used in massacres?

    Bloodshed instruments?

Well, considering that AR/AK rifles are only used in less than 1% of gun deaths, just shows that this has nothing to do with trying to stop bloodshed and everything to do with capitulating with the ignorant anti-gun crowd.

By pointing out that is the FBI exerted 1/10000 of the effort on the MULTIPLE WARNINGS about the Parkland shooter, as they did interviewing an MMA fighter in the "get Trump Witch Hunt", those kids would still be alive.

Gun companies aren't responsible for what people do.

Dick's lost nothing. Dick's initiated its changes, not because of pressure from the dopey gun right.

Theres two large groups of outdoor folk. Hunters and Explorers.
    Hunters should be self explanatory.
Explorers are the backpackers, climbers, kayakers, etc.

Hunters like guns. All guns. Its a good bet that anyone hunting with a shotgun or bolt action either has an AR at home or is thinking of getting one. Dicks has lost most of that groups business.
Explorers are more likely to lean left and support Dicks. The big problem: Explorers are already loyal to REI. Dicks still isnt going to get their business.

Just as long as they benefit from increased sales, that's their sole interest.

It's upto the government to be responsible. In American history, they're still waiting for a government/president who can achieve that.

You'll be spared the bloodshed bs when the bloodshed stops and no, they didn't attempt a "gun grab", that's ridiculous.

No, it's not up to the government to infringe on our rights.

It's up to the America people to stop the government or anybody else from infringing on our rights.

So you would be OK with getting rid of the gun that is the largest producer of gun deaths?
