Cops shut down white woman who called 911 on black real estate investor

We have found what some would call a strawman argument. Just when I was about to throw you a parade.

 

If a plumber showed up to fix some pipes if the neighbor was home I am pretty sure she wouldn't care how long it took him to do his job. So what is the difference between that and this guy doing and inspection? There is no difference, in both cases the owner was OK with it and that should have been the end of it. But it wasn't and she continued to be a bitter old hag. If someone can show me that she was like this with EVERYONE that showed up in the neighborhood then I would feel differently but until then the more likely........far more likely reason is she didn't like him cause he was black.

 

This thread is about racism, right? Specifically white racism.

 

Only someone who’s inherently racist would assume any negative interaction between two different races is racist. Everyone else would see it as two people interacting. I take it you’ve never had a problem with a white person.

 

But if that video is all the proof you need to show that all white people are racists and all black people are victims then have at it=strawman.

A strawman argument creates a position that no one is taking, and then arguing against that position.

Yep, straw man. Anyway, my mind is just blown right now. You actually said this lady was wrong. Oh man, wow.

 

Show me that she behaves this way towards everyone and I will change my tune. Until that happens the more likely scenario is that she didn't want the black guy hanging around her neighborhood. I don't have a problem with he initially calling the police and the police verfying everything. My problem with her starts after she starts trying to throw her weight around even after the owners said everything was fine. She didn't want the guy around no matter what. So we are left with four possible reasons.

1) She doesn't like men
2) She doesn't like millenials
3) She doesn't like blacks
4) She hates everyone new and does this every time a plumber or electrician shows up.

The two most likely scenarios are 3 and 4 and of those two the most likely scenario is 3.

 

Then please explain to everyone how she is racist?

He also showed her his business sign that he places in the yards of vacant properties, so people will know why he’s there.

Hayes said she continued to yell at him and told him to get out of her neighborhood because he had no right to be there.

He said she also lied and claimed she knew the owner. She said the owner didn’t want anyone in his house, even after Hayes showed her a written statement allowing him to enter the house.

Hayes said another officer drove up and another neighbor, a man, walked up to see what was going on. The other neighbor also verified Hayes' story to police.

One of the officers called the homeowner of the vacant house, who assured them that Hayes was supposed to be there.

Hayes said the woman then insulted him and the police officers, saying they weren’t doing their jobs.
The neighbor then claimed she was friends with the sheriff.

“I don’t care if you’re friends with the president,” the officer said. “You’re going to let him do what he’s going to do. If you try to do anything to stop him, I’m going to take you to jail.”

The woman then told Hayes to hurry up with the job and get out of her neighborhood.

 

So why should he hurry up and get out of her neighborhood? Does she own the entire neighborhood?

 

And that is somehow 'proof of racism'........LMAO at the leftist paranoia........do you look for a Klansman underneath your bed every night before being tucked in??

 

The story ending wasn't to your liking. That's your problem.

 

The story is irrelevant to me and most normal people.........a similar situation happens in neighborhoods across the country everyday........it's simply not 'racism'.......sorry but true......

An overlooked takeaway from this thread is that the police are now heroes again!

 

What is it you want us to "take a crack at"? Some dispshi*t woman was a nosy busybody and called the police, who promptly arrived and took the black guy's side in the argument.

Sounds like the police did exactly what they are supposed to do. My main concern is that the police, as public servants, do the right thing (which they did). I can't bring myself to get worked up over something some idiot neighbor said.

Newsflash: In a country with a population of 350+ million, you're going to run into some a$$holes. How is this even remotely newsworthy when the authorities did exactly what they are supposed to do???

Well, first of all, we don't know that this woman wouldn't have done the same to a white man. She might just be a nosy, disagreeable person with mental problems/nothing better to do, but for the sake of argument (and because it does seem likely) I'll grant the racism premise. It's not "proven" though.

But then, what is this story about? One racist woman in a country with hundreds of millions of people? What's the point? Did anyone ever think that such people don't exist? This is a "dog bites man" story if ever there was one.

 

The good thing is that she didn't get her way. The man was legit and police didn't buy her yarn.

But you can't sell door to door like a Fuller brush man used to. Honest people just don't do that.

If you're a stranger in a neighborhood you have to expect that eyes are on you and the police might be called -- mainly because property crime is out of control.

There was a white woman who worked at Lowes who also mowed lawns. She would walk the neighborhoods and put flyers and her card on porches. Nobody thought a thing of it because everybody knew her from Lowes. But a white man stranger doing that -- there's going to be suspicious eyes on him and maybe a call to police -- because property crime has been out of control for a long, long time. It ain't just racism.
