Anthony Bourdain has been found dead in France in an apparent suicide. Only saw a few of his shows but he seemed like a pretty miserable, angry guy. He had some sick views

"sick" because you disagree with him? I've seen a few of his shows. He explored the world through food. Fairly interesting, but very popular for foodies.

Philosopher Albert Camus once wrote “There is only one really serious philosophical problem and that is suicide. Deciding whether or not life is worth living is to answer the fundamental question in philosophy. All other questions follow from that”.

I've seen my step-father die of Agent Orange-related ALS and my father has PTSD-related paranoia issues and dementia (again Agent Orange?). Not the way I'd like to go. If faced with a terminal illness of which there is no hope of recovery, I'd take the easy way out.

He will be missed. Bourdain was an amazing man, quick witted and fun to watch. He will be missed.

The only reason the OP has any issue with Mr. Bourdain is because Mr. Bourdain thought it was "ok" to go out and experience other cultures. Beyond that, not precisely sure what "sick" views he had.

I’m not shocked at all that you would find his comments about blending whites out of existence and poisoning the President to be perfectly fine and acceptable. It’s very much par for the course for you.

Yes, he was a globalist who pushed globalist views like in the video and picture. I find these views objectionable.

Jesus, he had everything and still was not happy. Tons of people living on the street homeless that you would think would kill themselves, but don't.

I shot the 'Captain of Wall Street 90014' in 1974. The captain lived in a single room cold water flat. If you had a sink in it you could pee in it, but the bathroom was down the hall. Only light in the room was the window and bare bulb on the ceiling. Eventually they tore down the flop house and I guess the captain ended up dying homeless on the street.

People don't believe that money wont buy happiness. Money is stored energy, money is good, but money, fame and fortune only goes so far.

44,000 Americans commit suicide each year. 64,000 Americans die of drug overdoses. All have mental health issues, yet the LWers seek to ban guns because of 11,000 murders each year. They barely give lip-service to better mental health care.

    1) It was a joke. All RWers who get their BVDs in a bunch over this should remember Reagan joked about nuking the USSR.

    2) The question referred to him being forced to serve both Trump and Kim Jong-un.

CNN's Anthony Bourdain, who hosts the cooking show "Parts Unknown," was recently caught on camera saying that he'd serve hemlock to President Trump and Kim Jong-un if forced to cook for the pair.

Only white supremacists and other dumbass racists believe Bourdain is anti-white. What he said, in conversation, was that a way to solve the problems of racism was the "Singaporean model". Are you are white supremacist, Brewskier? Anti-Jew?

    http://www.grubstreet.com/2017/03/anthony-bourdain-offers-to-rearrange-david-dukes-kneecaps.html
The tweet links to a snippet from a 2016 Parts Unknown episode Bourdain filmed in Cologne, Germany — a city with lots of immigrants. In that episode, he eats with the artist and chef René Stessl. Stessl tells Bourdain that racism is a huge problem in Germany, and that he wishes for “a kind of utopia [where] the whole world will mix up with each other,” and “there will be no white people and only cappuccino colored.” Bourdain sees some wisdom in that, and replies: “It’s gonna take some time, but it’s really the only way, the sort of Singaporean model where everybody is so mixed up, you don’t know who to hate because everybody is so hopelessly intertwined.” The YouTube user whom Duke and Counter-Currents linked to says that makes Bourdain an “anti-white Jew.”

My point is you hate him because he showed other cultures. I for one am a pseudo tribalist, but I don't believe shielding yourself from knowing what other cultures are about is a good thing.

I think you deny yourself some awesome experiences if you want to sit around like an idiot churning butter in threadbare tunics.

The entire notion that the world is a huge place but should be separated by indestructible walls robs you of so many experiences.

I had depression and it's a sickness. So if you have this sickness, you have to go see a doctor and not hope the sickness to magically disappear. Unfortunately, you become totaly delusionnal when you're in depression, become convinced "you deserve to die", or that you will not miss your family.

Well I don’t know about all that, but his globalist “utopia” involves the genocide of entire races of people. That shouldn’t be cool to anyone.

Someone has to be so severely depressed to do that. Luckily you don’t know what severe depression is

I've enjoyed his show for many years. He was a very talented, knowledgeable and entertaining man. Anyone who took the hemlock remark seriously is an idiot.
