In the era of the #MeToo movement – when women who are victims of sexual misconduct and assault are courageously finding their voices – it’s absolutely mindboggling that Democrats in South Carolina nominated a candidate for the U.S. House Tuesday who was accused in divorce proceedings by his then-wife of beating her.

Although there were three others Democrats competing for their party’s nomination for the congressional seat, Democratic voters chose to nominate Archie Parnell despite 11th hour revelations surfacing that he beat his former wife in October 1973. The physical abuse only came to light in the final weeks of the campaign, causing some on his staff to walk out and prompting calls for him to drop out of the race.

According to divorce documents, Parnell was a student at the University of South Carolina when he broke a door down with a tire iron and beat his wife repeatedly, before beating her again later the same night.


Parnell has not denied the allegations.

Kathleen Parnell filed for divorce after she was attacked and got a restraining order. She said she was afraid for her life after the abuse.

Why is it, democrats can get away with beating women, and still get voted in. This isnt speculation, its in court documents, it really happened.

Somehow democrats dont give a damn.

Donald Trump is first, then there is a candidate in Chicago for a seat in Congress is the second (American Nazi affiliation), then the candidate running for Sen Feinsteins seat, Patrick Little, is the one I listed who views Jews as monsters.

So it’s not just whatever might be going on in the MeToo movement, ugly is being awakened across the board. You say someone who beats his wife shouldn’t be in Congress, well someone who brags openly about groping women shouldn’t be in elected office either...oh wait.

 

Who can forget Ivana Trumps divorce claims against Dirty Donald where she claimed he pulled her hair out and forcibly raped her???

Grabbing pu$$y when it’s given consent is fine, the issue is when you think you can do it wherever and whenever when you are in a position of power.

I support 100% against having a woman beater or sexual assaulter in office. I have no problem admitting that. Whatbis the Trump cult stance on our presidents assaulting women. Btw there a GOP member of congress just won a nomination and he lied about being on vacation except he was banging his mistress. He has 4 children.

As a whole the US voter has become immoral and hypocritical in their voting. People that should be in jail are being voted for. People bash one side of the isle for one thing and then vote for a person that has done the same damn thing.

It bogels the mind that people that I hope are not beating their spouse, cheating on their spouse, or otherwise mistreating their spouse would vote for someone that does.......and this is happening on both sides of the isle.
