If at first you don't succeed try, try again...

Yes indeedy. Well, it looks like it anyway. Craig Murray's piece this morning reflects growing UK news reports of another alleged nerve agent attack in Amesbury, just 10 miles North of Salisbury and lying bang between the two is, yup you've guessed, Porton Down.

    https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2018/07/wheel-out-the-skripal-story-again/

Below is the latest rendition of today's Guardian story (with the rest of the media breathlessly in pursuit of another Tiger with spots - with no lessons learned either, I expect).

Never accuse the Grauniad of not being a faithful pair of hands to run yet another smoke and mirrors story for the awfully nice people at Vauxhall Bridge Road.

I wonder if her spindle-ness is going to make an announcement in the House sometime soon?
That would confirm that this (anticipated) new Russians-did-it story has official backing? If that is the case, whatever next is planned we'll see maturing in the next few days.

Will it or won't it be about Syria again I wonder?

More from Craig Murray on this evolving story that is taking up the front pages of British newspapers and is the lead in TV news programmes.

If one allows oneself to enter a state of quietude, the sound of desperate government spin can be discerned.

Below is today's Guardian confection. The Novichok used to poison Sturgess and Rowley was, they and the government believe, a discarded left-over from the Skripal batch. Unexplained as yet (but trust me it will be...) is the 5 hour delay between Sturgess "falling ill" and Rowley being "taken ill".

A cynic might argue that this dastardly batch of Novichok holds truly magical qualities.

The lady lives in Salisbury, very close to the restaurant where the Skripals ate. There are connections in both places. I doesn't seem to imply any conspiracy theory.

But do you agree, it's a typical Russian murder? I have no any doubts here who did it again.

She lives in Amesbury 9 miles away north of Salisbury. Both have been reported to have been poisoned by Novichok nerve agent, which has been tested by Porton Down, that lies almost midway between to the two places.

The media here are making a great deal of the similarities to the Skrial affair.

Wheel out the Russian propaganda again in response, including another mention of how "interesting" Russia is as a country and how "pleasant and attractive" its people are.

Dear Durandal, nobody will to wheel out. The Russians will just laugh at you again. We provide you with facts. You can say only it's a Russian propaganda. You can't refuse our facts. You can say only it's a Russian propaganda. Do you know a main assumption in the Russian propaganda? Americans are fat&stupid. Every your post confirms that our propaganda is right. What is your weight. American?

It all seems like a desperate "look at me" moment.

Are there any Russian diplomats left to expel?

Oligarchs only. But you can expel them and take their money without any doubt. In the oligarchs case, we will support Brits :)

[IMG] A lot of other people live in Salisbury too but they're alright? Also, at vast expense to UK taxpayers Salisbury was decontaminated, especially the restaurant. Jeezus effing wept, some adults are as gullible as children.

Well you surely must admit, SH, that Javid Sadiv (wotever!) was spot on when he said that those shifty Russkies shouldn't use our green and pleasant land as 'a dumping ground for Novichok'? :roflol:Honestly, I've been around the block a few times but have truly never known anything like this ridiculous nonsense, especially when otherwise intelligent individuals (think BBC news journalists?) simply believe it without question. :wall: It's so bizarre, and the timing is exactly right, for this whole charade to have a Brexit connection.

So you believe it then? Right. (it used to be said 'There's one born every minute.', but these days I reckon it's at least 10.)

If I were one I'd want to get out of this madhouse as fast as possible, lest I should become contaminated with this endemic stupidity.

Well Cerb, at least we have to admit that our noble and intelligent Boys in Blue have analysed the danger and issued the appropriate CW advice to local residents in case any others of them harbour the idea of accidentally "picking up something" "recreational" or who otherwise come into contact with the deadliest nerve agent the world has ever known that has been dumped three months ago:

    1. Wash the clothes you were wearing as you normally would in your domestic machine at the recommended temperature. Tick.

    2. Wipe your hands with baby wipes. Tick

    (see HERE).

No more hazmat suits needed. They're a complete waste of money, it seems - I always suspected you know :). Because all you need actually do in this new age of nerve agent defilement is: just wipe away lurking death with a nice damp and perfumed square of paper - and THEN dispose of the used wipe that has been potentially contaminated with the deadliest nerve agent in the world in the ordinary domestic bin.

    Yup, Mickey Mouse lives...

Quote - "Americans are fat and stupid"
How's that for a racist comment?
Maybe they are "fat" because they can afford food.
Maybe they are "stupid" because their materialist economy is 20 times that of Russia.
One Jew (fat or stupid I can't tell) marveled how the "red sand of tiny Israel feeds the great black soils of Russia" after she learned that Israel exported food to Russia.

The Daily Fail editor has taken the usual step of rushing out a dramatic graphic to add weight to his breathless story that police are desperately "scouring the home" for the "contaminated item" they believe may have been a "delivery device".

    The unassailable facts are these:

"hundreds of police" are busy "scouring the home" for a "discarded nerve agent [that] may have been taken home" (much like an abandoned puppy, I suppose) because said deadly nerve agent was "recklessly discarded" (for cleansing by those efficacious baby wipes - a version of which are soon to be marketed by Porton Down, I don't doubt) by dastardly Roosians.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...oned-Novichok-taken-delivery-device-home.html

Whatever you do, do not try to apply Occam's Razor.

Good to know you've found out all of the facts before anyone else and come to the correct conclusion. Since you know everything about the incident already could you tell me the exposure level and exposure rate of Sturgess and Rowley or the potential exposure levels and rate from an item that was previously exposed?

Unless of course you think that it's instantly fatal at any level.

Maybe the level of contamination of the item (if that is in fact the source) was low, so the resultant exposure levels were also low along with potential off gassing of the nerve agent.

But why wait for facts or entertain another potential explanations and let them get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

Also the advice for washing clothes and items was a repeat of the previous advice from March, two things really, 1. if the exposure level was low enough then it would have an effect (if it was high anyway washing your clothes would be at the top of your list) 2. Maybe it's better to give them this advice on the chance it may help rather than do nothing, giving the public something to do rather than inaction and causing more panic.

Must be the "Novichok Cross Breeze" on Muggleton Road. I'd warn all motorists to stay clear of it until MI6 has completed their task of planting items of personal effects belonging to the Honourabe Mr. Vladimir Putin.

Sounds like something out of Monty Python's Flying Circus doesn't it! On the BBC news last night:- here we have a carbon copy of Skripal's house except in a different town: however, in the former, we had the proverbial police tape all over the place, men in biohazard suits wrapping up and carting away everything that could be wrapped up and carted away, plus heavy lifting gear to remove the Skripal neighbours' shrouded cars: but there in Amesbury, and as I said, in an almost identical scenario, there was scarcely any activity at all, with the plod in normal uniform, a delivery van departing the scene having just dropped off an Amazon parcel, residents strolling around in summer clothing, kids kicking a ball, and nery a biohazard suit to be seen. In short, just an ordinary summer's afternoon in a pleasant residential development whose residents looked as though they don't have a care in the world. It was almost surreal. Correction - it was surreal! Oh, and as to the 'Russia Connection' ( ) . . . whatever happened to 'Innocent until proven guilty'?

I can't wait to read what your mate Craig Murray has to say about it all.

I'm wondering why the media doesn't seem very interested in interviewing the Skripals - surely one could be forgiven for thinking the editors might want to talk to them (to get their side of the story? :roflol:) ? On t'other hand perhaps nobody knows where they are?
