According to Donald Trump, it was Obama's fault that Putin invaded Crimea.

I'm trying to picture in my mind how that happened. I'm guessing Obama got Putin on the phone and gave him an ultimatum:

"You either invade Crimea, or we nuke you!"

Yes! He did say it! A few minutes before telling the Prime Minister of the U.K. how "well" the U.K. gets along with the country that they have been on the brink of declaring war to because of their nasty habit of murdering people in British territory. Much to our embarrassment, this whole spectacle before the press from all over the world.

Is there nobody in this idiot's staff who is not a yes-man, that might tell Trump to just keep his mouth shut?

Every day that passes gives us a more deranged Donald Trump than the one we saw the day before. But, that's not the worst part. The worst part is that his loyalists see this as "completely normal".

Can somebody on the right please explain to me why any single living breathing and even moderately, thinking human being would not see this as insane. And the person who says it as unfit to.... forget about being President.... unfit to be let out on the street without a proper .Straitjacket.

My concern is that people around the world start believing that all Americans (not just his devout loyalists) are this uninformed and .... dumb. It's just embarrassing. If Trump is going to make a fool of himself, I wish he would do it here. Why does he have to do it in another country.

I'm pretty sure Theresa May learned her lesson and won't be having Trump back for a while. He'll have to manage his businesses from far away.

Putin correctly judged Obama as a weak sister and would not do anything.

Nice to have a real man in the white house again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your definition of a “real man” is someone who plays Putin’s b**tch. Trump handed Putin Syria. Trump tried to back off on Sanctions against Russia and was only stopped by a vote in Congress. Trump praises Putin while at the same time criticizing NATO allies.

He should not be allowed to meet with Putin alone as he is planning.

I completely agree with what you said with one possible exception.

Trump's "loyalists" ignore what Trump decides and says. That is the irony of their undying loyalty. The last person they want to deal with is Trump.

However, when others like yourself or me report on the latest Trump foibles, his fans rejoice because they delight in the idea that Trump is driving "leftists" crazy.

That is not exactly true, but that is what they believe. Also, the foolish assertion allows them to ignore whatever Trump did or said. Most of his fans have difficulty dealing with real issues.

A lot of this is true. And the patterns of right wing spin campaigns are fairly obvious as well.

They think this is some sort of entertainment, an ongoing reality show with audience participation. No rules govern this world, and bad behavior is frequenty rewarded.

lmfao! When did Russia invade again? Hm?

When did Ukraine finally get some US weapon support?

Tell me more about Mr. "Red Line" Obama's bravery though.

Putin repeatedly accused Obama & Clinton of sponsoring, and funding Ukraine's political upheaval ... and of course they did. Obama's inaction on Putin's election meddling doesn't puzzle me at all. US media ignored Putin's accusations entirely so Obama's Ukrainian coup wouldn't be exposed. The BBC ran several articles on the US involvement in Yanukovych's ouster. I've posted them before.

Yes. Selectively ignoring what Trump does is a defense mechanism that they have developed. And it's a win-win for them. They tell them what to ignore and what not ignore, and they can then use-up less brain cells in intellectual activity. Which makes those brain cell dormant, and that leaves less room in the brain for attention-span.... and it goes around in a circle. Which makes them every time more dependent on Fox to tell them what to think, what to believe and what to say, without ever straining their brains. In time, they become dumber. But they don't need to be any smarter because Fox does all the thinking for them. In the end, all that is needed from them is to have enough brain-cells left to get up on election day and vote for... whoever Fox tells them to vote for.

So you believe, as your prophet has instructed you, that Putin had nothing to do with it. It's dogma, right?

It happened because Putin estimated that he had a chance to put a useful idiot in power in the West who would do his bidding, before the sanctions that Obama imposed on them became unbearable. With Trump, he hit the jackpot!

Does this sound like Putin's bitch?

Did he lick Putin's boots when he went ahead and provided Poland missiles after Obama backed out from it after Russia warned Obama it could cause a war?

Did he lick Putin's boots when he supplied Ukraine with weapons to defend the country against Russian back Ukrainian rebels trying to take Ukraine over, after Obama refused to?

Did he lick the Russian boots when he gave the ok to attack and kill over 100 Russian missionaries that were about to attack the American base in Syria?

Right. Putin wanted Trump to do this to him.

Did he lick the Russian boots when he gave the ok to attack and kill over 100 Russian mercenaries that were about to attack the American base in Syria?

What I, and many others, wonder is why? Why is Trump cozy with Putin while detrimental to our friends. One of Trumps first use of the toll free Oval Office phone was to get into a shouting match with Australia's PM. Australia? He should send the PM a White House kitchen chocolate cake as an apology. I can only come up with a few possibilities for Trump's undying love for the Russian dictator.
    1. Trump is a really stupid guy and thinks he is Putin's best buddy.
    2. Putin has Trump's balls in his pocket because of some nefarious deal he fell into.
    3. Putin has adopted Trump as his protege.
    4. Trump and Putin want to divvy up the world and milk it like prize Holstein.
If you can think of something else lay it on me. Personally, I vote for #1 and #2.

You guys on the Left worry a lot of what he says, we think more of what he does, not what he says.

We need Russia's help, along with China if we are ever going to get N. Korea to disarm. They can easily give N. Korea everything they need and we wouldn't even know it. We need their help if we are ever going to get a settlement in Syria. You can do more trying to be friendly than you can threatening them. What'd that old saying, I think Roosevelt said it. Walk softly but carry a big stick.

Trump is doing much like Reagan did with the Soviet Union. He was tough on them and at the same time tried to win their confidence. I think in the end Gorbachev and Reagan became friends sort of. I'm not sure if two other leaders of both countries could have pulled off what they did.

Obama didn't ignore for a second Putin's meddling in our elections. I don't know what drives you to say that. Yanukovych removed himself through his attempts to become a corrupt dictator. But all that happened before Putin invaded Crimea. So I don't know what you're talking about.

bottom line: Putin invaded a foreign sovereign country and took over a piece of land that he had no right over. And he will be able to keep it only because Trump is a clueless moron who is being used.... or maybe blackmailed... who knows. Fact is that he's doing Putin's bidding at every turn.

and trump is a vladdie's butt buddy.

Russian military cyber attack (an act of war) on America. Detailed indictments that trump knew about and still calle the mueller investigation a witch hunt on foreign soil. His reaction as CinC of the United States Military? See, we didn't do anything just like we said all along.

And he's going to meet with his butt buddy PRIVATELY in a couple of days. Nothing to see here according to trump, but it sure does smell rotten to everyone with a nose.

I don't know. I do know that he licked Putin's boots when he let him get away with attacking US. The country that Trump took an oath to defend!

Does that not concern you? What are your priorities? Syria first? Poland first?

Well mine is the United States first! Are you a real Marine? I'm curious to know what the priorities of a Marine are these days
