Ok, after having a look into it, it looks as though it all comes down to Israel's Golan Heights Law of '81 not being recognized by the UN regardless of Israel's citation of UN resolution 242.

Israel won that territory fair and square as far as I can see and can do with it as they wish. The UN has displayed their anti Israel slant for far too long for me to not suspect their outright dismissal as anything other than "#NeverIsrael".

I think we're about done with the UN anyway, they need to go somewhere else...

How strange... you think the UN is biased against Israel - and I think the UN has become a Jewish tool. Not that I know a lot, but some time ago I investigated the murder of Rafik Hariri and found, that the Jew Jeffrey Feltman, the main suspect, had become the powerful #2 of the UN.
Also, the US, your obedient ally, always votes in favor for Israel or vetoes anything unfavorable to Israel.

In 1994, the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan resolved this, in full, when Jordan ceded the WB to Israel.
This cession of territory resolved the question under international law with regard to Israeli "occupation", et al; as there is no longer a question of international law, the opinion of the UN with regard to Israel and the WB means nothing.

mea culpa. I misremembered that only a three nations recognized the annexation. Even the arab league considered the annexation only to hold in trust the land and interests of the Palestinians.
