    The Russians were notified of the strike - by a Trump tweet... duh - and according to Russian officials, only 5 of their own died.

    If there had really been 200 deaths on the Russian side, we would have had a much more serious diplomatic crisis.



    In the same text, a little further on, we can read:

    Trump has been under pressure from Congress to respond more forcefully to Russian aggression in the US. In recent weeks his administration has rolled out a series of actions including several economic and diplomatic steps to increase pressure on Putin and those in his circle.

    The most important thing to remember is HERE.

    So Trump has taken no initiative to punish the Russians seriously since he took office.
