Pretty sure that you can thank the Federal Reserve System for your relatively good fortune. Local market supply/demand have the greatest influence, of course, on your home value. But the big stock run-up? That was the Fed and their policy of doing everything imaginable to blow air into the big 'fraud-balloon' that caused the stock market to soar.

They rescued those that they thought were "too big to fail", and they crushed interest rates down in the dirt, even though everybody was starving for CASH, so, the Fed started stuffing it into banks all over the country. Glad you came out on top!

This article disputes your figures of two point eight million comming off the SNAP roles during your allegation giving Trump all the credit.

Do not get me wrong a drop in SNAP participation is great but the drop in the SNAPPERS was dropping since two thousand thirteen or two thousand fourteen.

Cause it's old news. Been going down for a few years. Did you applaud Obama when he turned it around.

Oh, yeah -- ex-prez "Messiah"! The lying bastard who stuffed Obamacare down the country's throat? The same Obama who said we could keep our health insurance, keep our doctors, and save $2,500 every year on premiums? That Obama?

The smaller Obama appears in the country's 'rear-view mirror' as we speed away from him and all his socialist bullshit, the better I like it!

It officially ended in June 2009, as calculated the same way they all have been calculated.

Obama's worst recovery on record is not a recession, it is an illustration of his incompetence and what a disaster he was.

It officially ended because Wall Street recovered. Most Americans who got creamed by the rich speculating on real estate still suffered for years.

Wrong, Questerr! Just ask any good, lock-step, Democrat economist! They'll tell you that their "Messiah" took the Oath of Office in January, 2009, followed rapidly by his announcement of a "Stimulus" program, and like MAGIC -- less than five months later, the "Great Recession" had ENDED!

    What a miracle... right?!

But here we are... in August 2018... and Democrats are bitching and poor-mouthing worse today than they did back in August 2009 -- NINE YEARS after the recession ended... right?! :roflol:

That's funny I never heard small business touting much about BO the Peep and his economy. Oh yeah, that's Right The Peep and his Regulations. So at least the leftness does have an excuse they can play on.

Millions Drop Off Food Stamps Under Trump, Small Business Optimism Soars to All-Time High.....

Since President Trump took office in January 2017, the U.S. economy has made a much needed turn around.

According to new numbers recently released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, millions of Americans have left welfare checks behind after the program ballooned to record recipients under President Obama.

Further, a new Gallup poll shows small business optimism just hit an all time high. Here's why:

-Current financial situation -- 78% of small-business owners rate it as very or somewhat good, compared with 73% in the second quarter of 2018.
-Cash flow in the past 12 months -- 69% rate it as very or somewhat good, versus 63% in the second quarter.
-Cash flow expectations in the next 12 months -- 77% very or somewhat good, compared with 72% last quarter.
-Credit availability in the next 12 months -- 49% say it will be very or somewhat easy to get credit, versus 44% in the second quarter.

Here is a bunch more that won't have to. Oh and as to those Tariffs. Here is what those Working Businesses have to say.

Now to the great economic news. The Atlanta Federal Reserve’s “GDPNow” measure (which predicts future GDP growth based on current data) just upgraded its third quarter GDP prediction from 4.7 percent to 5 percent growth. If that prediction comes true — right before the November elections — Trump’s GOP wins a huge victory.

How good is the economic news? In June, 155,965,000 Americans were employed. That’s the 11th time in 19 months under Trump we’ve set a record for the most Americans working. This guy is Houdini.

Hispanic unemployment set another record low. But even more remarkably, the number for disabled Americans is also the lowest ever.

It gets better. These aren’t Obama’s crappy, low-wage, part-time jobs. High-wage manufacturing jobs were up by 37,000 in June. That brings Trump’s total to 400,000 new manufacturing jobs. Not surprisingly, with the economy booming and a job market this tight, worker pay raises are now the highest since 2008.

But the news gets even better for Trump. Democrats, Ivy League eggheads and the liberal mainstream media think they have a winning/wedge issue with Trump’s trade war. They call it “reckless” and “dangerous.” They keep claiming it will destroy our economy. Well, guess who disagrees? American businesses.

Seventy-one percent of business owners surveyed by the UBS Investor Watch support additional tariffs on China. Eighty-eight percent agree China engages in unfair trade practices. Sixty-six percent support additional tariffs on Mexico. Sixty-four percent support additional tariffs on the E.U. Sixty percent even support additional tariffs on Canada. Trump wins again. The people no longer care what the media say.

Trump rolls back Obama-era gas mileage standards. Liberal environmentalists scream. But that saves $2,400 per car for middle-class Americans. The people cheer. Trump demands work requirements for anyone who gets food stamps. The people cheer.

The Democrat response? Socialism. Free health care. Free money for everyone. Free college for everyone. Free handouts for everyone. Reparations. Open borders.

Trump has hit the daily double. He’s destroyed the Democrat Party and the liberal mainstream media at the same time. Liberals have fallen into a very deep, dark hole. They may never crawl out.....snip~

It certainly does. However, that tide didn't begin it's rise on January 20, 2017, and only a fool would believe that it did.

Looks like those at the Hill wanted to play the fool.

American prosperity of Trump era marks real turning point in history.....

    By Arthur Laffer
    July 27, 2018

Gross domestic product, or GDP, is the measure of choice when assessing the health of any economy, especially in the United States. GDP, which is measured at annual rates, includes the value of production of all goods and services produced in a country. In the one year since President Trump took office, the first quarter of 2017 through the first quarter of 2018, real GDP grew at a 2.55 percent annual rate. This is higher than the growth for six of the eight years former President Obama was in office, or even five of the eight years when former President George W. Bush was in office.

Wonderful news. Still, you guys pretend that this trend was created in a vacuum on January 20, 2017. It wasn't, and anyone sane understands this simple fact.

So should we credit Obama for ridding the rolls of the food stamp users?

That's great news. Trump will start some kind of bubble though, and when it pops then Democrats will have to clean it up again while right wingers complain they aren't doing it fast enough.

What was the base value the day he took office? What was the end value? Are you located in a city? Since Trump took office, and I can verify this, and in fact need to verify this, but from January 20 of 2017 until 2 months ago, my sons home rose in value by about that much in the SF bay area. He actually got about $80,000 over indicated market price in a rather modest priced area. And this in under 2 years whereas you speak of 8 years.

No way home prices rose in California with their devil Democrats in charge and everybody leaving the state ... I've had numerous Republicans tell me that California was a dust bowl ... you must be fibbing.
