Trump should NOT get credit for low black unemployment.

Sure a rising tide lifts all boats. Spend the nestegg, to PRIME the pump, a term Trump INVENTED, and you get a heated economy.

But, if the ratio of others, to blacks, is not addressed in the slightest, there is NO NET GAIN. Same with women. If the ratio of pay between these, does not adjust, then there is NO GAIN.

Same as a heated economy, with a faster inflation rate, and tariffs, is a net LOSS.

And so, blacks, and all others, at the same ratio, are caught in a trap. That aint the American dream.

The REAL addressing of the issues, would NECESSARILY slow gains of some, to CATCH UP others. Which will cause a race WAR, in my opinion, if only a cold one. And a gender war in the other.

How can we get gains for women and minorities, without NECESSARILY EVEN IF ONLY SEEMINGLY, the majority falling behind?

IS it possible to deal with it? OR will whites always fight advancement towards an egalitarian society?

We see things completely different. I'm wondering who is going to continue what Trump is doing after his second term. He just might be that once in (my) lifetime president.

I would swallow poisin to make SURE that don't happen.

Which is moot, as we would likely be evaporated.

I have read and reread and I am still trying to figure out your point. Regardless of who is responsible, the unemployment rate for blacks has declined.

So you would prefer we go back to the black unemployment and government dependence under the Democrats? Why on earth?

Obama said there was no magic wand Trump could use to bring the jobs back to America. He also talked about managed decline of America and The New Normal. Suddenly the collective wants to give him credit for when a guy that comes and removes all his regulations and the economy takes off, credit for the economy taking off.

You can bet that if unemployment had gone up, Trump would have been blamed.

If the economy crashes right now it will be Trump's fault.

Of course Trump would be blamed! What would you expect? He inherited an economy growing strong. Who else would you blame?

You inherit a growing economy, you make it fail.... what is there to "rationalize"?

He doesn't even need to make it fail. If Trump doesn't increase the rate of growth... same thing: he's a failure. The last two Democratic administrations have done it. Why should we demand less from Republicans?

Trump took it from OK to GREAT. I am retired with a fixed income except for some stocks which we are not accessing.. . Nothing was going to change my standard of living except a tax cut. And I got a nearly two thousand dollar tax cut. We are spending most of that tax cut which benefits others. It is called a trickle in all directions economy.

If everyone gets a raise, but yours is less, you fall BEHIND. Literally. Thus, for us to approach an egalitarian society, which is called for by the 14th amendment, you MUST speed some along, to catch up, or you NEVER WILL.

You do know that what you mention is temporary and you will have to pay that back, right? Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble if you didn't.. But, it's only the benefits for the rich that are permanent. Yours were tailored to make an impact on this quarter only. The one right before the midterms. But the funds for the permanent cuts intended to keep those donations from the rich coming to Republicans will need to come out of somewhere. And guess whose pockets it's coming out of: yours! So let's hope this quarter's results are really great. In the 5s or top 4s, at a minimum. Because Trump hasn't given us anywhere else to draw much from after this.

You see, to Democrats, it does not matter who is president and who runs Congress. All bad things are Republicans' fault and all good things are because of Democrats. Who holds office is irrelevant.

EXPLAIN how the prices will NOT be raised, due to more money in peoples pockets. Thus, those getting less than others, FALL BEHIND.

The tax cut benefits are all mine and I am not under any obligation to pay them back to anyone. The only way I end up with a net loss is if the democrats raise taxes.

Well why would you not want to go back to Democrat policy and what is your alternative?

Make no mistake about it: you will see a net loss. If you're lucky you'll see it in little things in a longer span of time. You may have to spend more gas money to drive to the Post Office, because the nearest one shut down. Maybe you'll have to change your tires sooner, because potholes won't be fixed in time. Or you might have to drive earlier to the airport because TSA has less employees. And, of course, you will pay back when you buy just about... anything... as inflation increases needlessly. But, believe me, you will pay it back. To the last penny and more.... Because once you've paid off your share, you'll have to keep paying for Trump's, and Soros' and Buffett's and the Koche's.... and all the rich people's share. And those are permanent, you know.
