Pro_Lifers would never agree to that because of the expense. They are disingenuous in their "Pro-Life" stance. They are Pro-Fetus but only until the fetus becomes a child upon birth. Then it's on its own. They have no interest in anyone after birth except their own families. It saddens me to say such things, but the evidence supports it.

Now face the REST of the post :FoxHastings said:

I promote women's right to their own bodies and you promote destroying rights.

    You haven't presented any...

Here we go round the rosy ...and around and around...

IF a fetus is deemed a person with rights then with those rights comes the same restrictions we all have.

We cannot harm another without their consent...A fetus couldn't do that either :)

We all have the right to self defense so a woman can defend herself by killing the fetus( the ONLY way to stop the harm)
You promote women losing the same rights you have and enjoy...

You couldn't address my post....why was that? Too many facts for you to not want to see???? :)

There are no females "slaughtered" in utero.

And that's a stupid question.... I want any BORN female to have all the rights everyone else has, YOU DO NOT.

I do know that you could NOT refute a word of my post :)

Well the problem with your grandiose rambling nonsense here is that we are not talking about merely her body, we are actually talking about intentionally killing another human being.

You may see that as no different than clipping a toenail, but most thinking human beings recognize it if far more serious than that. This situation involves the rights of two human beings, not one. One is the person whose actions created the situation under which a new human being is created and exists within her, the other finds him/herself in a situation where the person whose actions created him/her wants to kill him/ her because he/she is an inconvenience. Our laws regarding human rights have always protected the less powerful from the whims of the more powerful in issues where the rights of two individuals overlap. ... until Roe v Wade.

Here we have the basic right to life of one person versus 9 months and a few additional recovery months of discomfort and inconvenience. Logically how does the basic right to life lose in this conflict?

No need, they are already in a nurturing environment. How about when your boyfriend decides you are too much to deal with we let him do that to you?

So where is the intent. Read up on law. Intent is kind of a big deal. The killer host clearly has intent to rip away the right to life of the child in utero, but the child in utero is simply living.

    ,

YES, I am SURE you think women having the right to their own bodies, a right YOU enjoy, is "grandiose rambling nonsense".

At one time some old geezers thought that about women voting.....maybe they still do ….

Ya, abortion.....a legal medical procedure.....it kills a human fetus....just like WAR does.....

    ,

NO, I don't and have never stated anything of the kind so you are making things up.....and that's usually done when one has NO good argument :)

    .

NOPE, only one has rights and if they both did then the woman has every right to self defense and no more has to use her body to sustain the life of another than you do.

IF they both have rights they BOTH have RESTRICTIONS.

Just doesn't matter..... if you climb a mountain and risk falling and you fall you are NOT denied your rights nor medical attention.

They haven't the mental capacity to find themselves anywhere.

And now you want women's rights taken away...

Easy, there is no "right to life".....ever heard of wars?

It's quite sickening to see how Anti-Choicers denigrate what women have to do to produce THEM.

Alongside FINANCIAL set backs and educational /career setbacks and possible job loss there is the following that Anti-Choicers consider a """few months of recovery and inconvenience"".....something THEY would NOT volounteer for:

Normal, frequent or expectable temporary side effects of pregnancy:

      • exhaustion (weariness common from first weeks)
      • altered appetite and senses of taste and smell
      • nausea and vomiting (50% of women, first trimester)
      • heartburn and indigestion
      • constipation
      • weight gain
      • dizziness and light-headedness
      • bloating, swelling, fluid retention
      • hemmorhoids
      • abdominal cramps
      • yeast infections
      • congested, bloody nose
      • acne and mild skin disorders
      • skin discoloration (chloasma, face and abdomen)
      • mild to severe backache and strain
      • increased headaches
      • difficulty sleeping, and discomfort while sleeping
      • increased urination and incontinence
      • bleeding gums
      • pica
      • breast pain and discharge
      • swelling of joints, leg cramps, joint paininfection including from serious and potentially fatal disease
(pregnant women are immune suppressed compared with non-pregnant women, and are more susceptible to fungal and certain other diseases)
      • extreme pain on delivery
      • hormonal mood changes, including normal post-partum depression
      • continued post-partum exhaustion and recovery period (exacerbated if a c-section -- major surgery -- is required, sometimes taking up to a full year to fully recover)
Normal, expectable, or frequent PERMANENT side effects of pregnancy:

      • stretch marks (worse in younger women)
      • loose skin
      • permanent weight gain or redistribution
      • abdominal and vaginal muscle weakness
      • pelvic floor disorder (occurring in as many as 35% of middle-aged former child-bearers and 50% of elderly former child-bearers, associated with urinary and rectal incontinence, discomfort and reduced quality of life -- aka prolapsed utuerus, the malady sometimes badly fixed by the transvaginal mesh)
      • changes to breasts
      • increased foot size
      • varicose veins
      • scarring from episiotomy or c-section
      • other permanent aesthetic changes to the body (all of these are downplayed by women, because the culture values youth and beauty)
      • increased proclivity for hemmorhoids
      • loss of dental and bone calcium (cavities and osteoporosis)
      • higher lifetime risk of developing Altzheimer's
      • newer research indicates microchimeric cells, other bi-directional exchanges of DNA, chromosomes, and other bodily material between fetus and mother (including with "unrelated" gestational surrogates)
    Occasional complications and side effects:

      • complications of episiotomy
      • hyperemesis gravidarum
      • temporary and permanent injury to back
      • severe scarring requiring later surgery
        (especially after additional pregnancies)
      • dropped (prolapsed) uterus (especially after additional pregnancies, and other pelvic floor weaknesses -- 11% of women, including cystocele, rectocele, and enterocele)
      • pre-eclampsia (edema and hypertension, the most common complication of pregnancy, associated with eclampsia, and affecting 7 - 10% of pregnancies)
      • eclampsia (convulsions, coma during pregnancy or labor, high risk of death)
      • gestational diabetes
      • placenta previa
      • anemia (which can be life-threatening)
      • thrombocytopenic purpura
      • severe cramping
      • embolism (blood clots)
      • medical disability requiring full bed rest (frequently ordered during part of many pregnancies varying from days to months for health of either mother or baby)
      • diastasis recti, also torn abdominal muscles
      • mitral valve stenosis (most common cardiac complication)
      • serious infection and disease (e.g. increased risk of tuberculosis)
      • hormonal imbalance
      • ectopic pregnancy (risk of death)
      • broken bones (ribcage, "tail bone")
      • hemorrhage and
      • numerous other complications of delivery
      • refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease
      • aggravation of pre-pregnancy diseases and conditions (e.g. epilepsy is present in .5% of pregnant women, and the pregnancy alters drug metabolism and treatment prospects all the while it increases the number and frequency of seizures)
      • severe post-partum depression and psychosis
      • research now indicates a possible link between ovarian cancer and female fertility treatments, including "egg harvesting" from infertile women and donors
      • research also now indicates correlations between lower breast cancer survival rates and proximity in time to onset of cancer of last pregnancy
      • research also indicates a correlation between having six or more pregnancies and a risk of coronary and cardiovascular disease
    Less common (but serious) complications:

      • peripartum cardiomyopathy
      • cardiopulmonary arrest
      • magnesium toxicity
      • severe hypoxemia/acidosis
      • massive embolism
      • increased intracranial pressure, brainstem infarction
      • molar pregnancy, gestational trophoblastic disease
        (like a pregnancy-induced cancer)
      • malignant arrhythmia
      • circulatory collapse
      • placental abruption
      • obstetric fistula
    More permanent side effects:

      • future infertility
      • permanent disability
      • death.

Now let's all watch as the Anti-Choicer sticks to their script and picks out " Stretch marks" as not a good enough reason to have an abortion....

More baloney.....the fetus USES the woman's body to sustain it's life....something NO ONE ELSE can do....the FETUS is taking advantage of the woman!!!

    So what?

NO child is killed wantonly or otherwise despite your erroneous term for a fetus and hyperbolic crap you use only because you have no facts.

AND once again ALL ABORTIONS are performed due to the INCONVENIENCE of having a kid you don't want and/or can't afford....women do not have abortions for fun or sport, they have them because the pregnancy is INCONDAMNVENIENT..

BULL! Abortions have been around for thousands of years and have affected society not at all....

NOBODY's "morals" are eroded because abortions take place.....HAVE YOUR MORALS ERODED ?????REALLY! MINE HAVEN"T

So are you willing to incarcerate every woman who expresses doubt about her pregnancy on the off chance she might have an abortion?

Only a man could lack such insight. Yep, having an abortion with the cramping and bleeding is just like cutting your nails. I think I’m going to write a book about what it feels like to be kicked in the balls by a horse.lol
You keep, personifying a ZEF by callings human being and leaving out the word POTENTIAL! Is an acorn an oak tree?
And you act as though giving birth ends the decision...actually it’s an 18 year commitment

Worse how many women will die?

And I am not talking backyard abortions here, although that is a Horror in and of itself. I am talking cases like Savita Hallappanar in Ireland where medical staff were so afraid of being charged with foetal murder they would not intervene to save her life

I think that's a common feeling among people that hope everything ends when they die. You may not get off that easy.

What an absurd argument. We already know 100% of abortion homicides end in the death of the child in utero. And nobody has proposed criminal charges when the mothers life is in imminent danger. That is the proper threshold for any self defense homicide and pro lifers are ok with it. So stop with the bullshit smokescreens.

The potential is passed at the moment of conception. Any thinking person understands this. They are children in utero from that point forward.

And you seem to be unaware of a thing commonly called adoption!

Maybe maybe not but it seems to me many non believers are afraid life may not be over when the body dies. This may be due to fear of consequences to actions in their life or fear of the unknown or just not liking life much and wanting it to end forever.
