Yes. Hes making the claim...name the officers so we know what situation he is spraking of. Hopefully Mike Brown wont be one of the cases or anyone like it or else that pretty much invalidates the whole kneeling issue as false. Valid cases...lets hear them.

I shouldn't have to point these out to you because they're pretty well known and that's what Google is for, but since we're here, Walter Scott, Tamir Rice, Charles Kinsey, Philando Castle, Corey Jones.

Like I said, there's so many to list, I'm not naming every single one of them. BTW he wasn't reaching for his firearm, I believe he was reaching for his ID but they assumed firearm, and I also believe you're supposed to inform cops you have a weapon on you so they aren't surprised.

Or an itchy trigger-finger, which seems to happen very frequently. Bonus points for the officer admitting he couldn't even state if he saw a weapon.

Whoever's wearing the badge vs. whoever's being stopped.

I didn't vote because the poll was skewed. Most of the protesters are not sitting, they are kneeling, which I don't have a problem with as they are showing enough respect for those who have fallen. Good enough for me. The stupid fist in the air is a joke. I just kinda laugh that one off when I see it.

I agree. The useful idiots are those who along with Trump are trying to discourage free speech, disparage any reporters who dare to point out his shortcomings and shut down any investigation into his corruption. Trump has showed a fondness for his KGB buddy Vladimir Putin and even Little Kim over in North Korea. He admires these two tyrants and has clearly stated that he wishes he had their kind of absolute power. Trump is the poster boy for useful idiots and by far the biggest demogaugue this nation has ever seen.

I really enjoy NFL football and do not really care whether the players want to excercise their right to peaceful protest before or after the game. I would also submit that anyone who contends that they are not watching it anymore are not and never were really fans of the game. As one who has played and coached football in the past, I know that the NFL is a representation of some of the finest most well trained athletes in our country. I also like the fact that they have enacted several rule changes over the past 50 years that have made the game more exciting and many lately have been instituted to protect the players health and well being.

Then why are you supporting a guy who has constantly sucked up to and possibly conspired with a KGB scumbag like Putin while disparaging US Intel and Law Enforcement?

I never did enjoy watching sports. Not on TV or even irl. I chose option 2.

I may be a bit biased here, but I don't think theres a huge demographic overlap between ppl who enjoy yelling 'go! go! go!' at the TV and ppl who enjoy online political debate.

But heres to hoping Im wrong and poll represents a rapidly looming death of Americas fascination with professional sports :)

For me, not only do I enjoy it too much but I also don't wanna be like my dad who was a diehard fan who spent thousands of dollars on paraphernalia, more money on season tickets and decked out his own man cave, only to stop with football and sports altogether solely because safety workers told him he couldn't sit on some concrete slab outside the stadium.

What point is that, that they only protest when paid to do so?

    Of course. It's football.
Let's hope the neanderthals give it up, so we don't get silly threads all season whining about the NFL.

BTW - your poll isn't very good. All you put in was disrespecting the USA. Which is completely fabricated on your part.

Good. Don't watch, and don't make threads about you not watching. Just go live your life.

    Who isn't doing their job?
The job of NFL players is to play football. What happens before the game, isn't part of their job per se, and they are not in violation of any NFL policy.

Well, sure, but I'm not into football enough to bother with that. I've got no personal investment in anything football-related, or indeed pro sports-related in general. It was fun to watch the last Superbowl, though. It was well hyped and the presentation of the game I saw on TV was good. I didn't think it was too bad in terms of number and length of commercial breaks, either.
