This man is basically homeless because of child support. I think maybe some of these laws in certain states might need some revision.
I'm well aware. That is one reason I don't date. Often they just date you to enslave you. But even if you abstain, they will just tax you.
And if he had joint custody, the kids would be much better off. Kids without a stable father figure are the highest population of teen delinquency and dropout rates. Also, they are much more likely to commit suicide than any other group sans trans people.
Yes, but that does not mean cause and effect. Often the split came from one of the parents being bad, a bad lover or bad parent. Joint custody could put the kids back into the hands of a bad parent. Or it could be the other who was bad. Or one could have just been a bad lover. I think joint is better on average but not a cure.
