This is disgusting, and typical of our governments malice and hypocrisy. When Bolton gave his ultimatum to Damascus not to use chemical weapons in Idlib, he was basically telling the terrorists that if they stage another attack, Washington will come to their support. Washington knows damn well that Assad has never used chemical weapons.

Russia had made an agreement with Israel years ago not to provide Syria with it's S-400 missile defense system, and Washington in its usual back stabbing way, is encouraging the terrorists to stage another false flag so they can attack the Syrian army and keep the war on going. Well I guess that's the end of that agreement.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The provocations are being prepared by militants from Al-Nusra Front (now known as Tahrir al-Sham) in Idlib province, northwestern Syria,

In order to stage the attack, some eight canisters of chlorine were delivered in to village near Jisr al-Shughur city for the terrorists’ use, he added. A separate group of militants, prepped by private British security company Olive, have also arrived in the area. The group will be disguised as volunteers from the White Helmets group and will simulate a rescue operation involving locals purportedly injured in the attack, according to the military official.

The (false flag chem.) attack would be used as a pretext for US, UK and French airstrikes on Syrian targets, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov said. USS ‘The Sullivans,’ an Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided missile destroyer, was already deployed to the Persian Gulf a couple of days ago, he added.

The destroyer has 56 cruise missiles on board, according to data from the Russian Defence Ministry. A US Rockwell B-1 Lancer, a supersonic bomber equipped with 24 cruise missiles, has also been deployed at the Qatari Al Udeid Airbase.

I have the information. American ships and aircraft, which are in the Persian Gulf, ready to launch a missile and bomb attack on the Syrian army. They will make a false chemical attack in Idlib. The Russian military today are together with the Syrian military. If Russian soldiers are killed, NATO ships and aircraft will be attacked by hypersonic missiles.

It's not Russian propaganda, but the only way a false flag attack can be stopped is by making people aware that it is imminent. Should Washington go through with it, the consequences might be catastrophic. There is no way Russia is going to have all those terrorists in Idlib attacking Syrian civilians and its base as well.

I believe a warning was given by Russia after the last false flag incident about breaking the agreement it made, and giving Assad it's S-400's missile defense.. I'm sure there is going to be other consequences as well. Washington can't bomb at will, as if the lives of Syrian soldiers are inconsequential - and bombing them in their own country to boot. Enough is enough.

Looks like Washington, or rather the neo cons wants war, and are willing to fight until the last Arab.

    MOSCOW
Turkey's foreign minister on Friday warned against a possible Syrian government offensive on the last remaining stronghold of opposition against President Bashar Assad, while Russia indicated that it's losing its patience with the rebels.

Mevlut Cavusoglu, who was in Moscow for talks with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, said that Russia and Turkey should work to separate opposition groups from "terrorists" in the northwestern province of Idlib. He warned against a government offensive there, saying that it will cause a "humanitarian catastrophe."

Dunno about this but the so called chemical attack a few months ago clearly was a fraud that never took place.

The US is not going to launch missiles into 3 million mostly civilians in Idlib. A lot of those people are Syrian families who are displaced within Syria.

‘Foreign specialists’ may stage chemical attack in Syria in 2 days to frame Assad – Russian MoD

This can't be blasted loud enough to stop what might bring the world to the brink of war.

There are English speaking specialists already in place, ready to use poisonous agents. A group of residents from the north have been transported to Kafr Zita and are being prepared to take part in staging the attack. They will be filmed suffering from supposed 'chemical munitions' and 'barrel bombs' launched supposedly by the Syrian government forces.

The residents will be photographed with the White Helmets helping the people who will be supposedly suffering from the chemical attack, and the pictures will be shown in all the Middle Eastern and English language media.

For heaven's sake, Russia and Syria have so many agents in Syria, can't someone get into the area and blast them all to kingdom come - they deserve it. Oh that's right, it will spread the chlorine all over the place.

Hopefully not, now that Russia is making people aware of the imminent false flag attack. Anyway, since when has Washington shown any concern towards Syrian lives - unless of course they are against Assad? In that case, it doesn't matter if they are criminals, terrorists or who knows what - they will all have Washington's support.

Any US response at all would be measured and small. Certainly no boots on the ground. There is no will of the people to do something serious about Syria. We the people do not care to the point of significant sacrifice on our part.

Mostly, we don't care at all.

I read a report by an American specialist, and she said that Russia is way more advanced in its military, and is able to fully protect the Russian Federation, (all 6 thousand miles of it), even though it spends less than 1/10th of what the US spends. She said that if it is forwarded so as to increase our military spending, then it becomes a double edged sword, since it will lessen the faith other nations have in the US and in Nato.

There is no good answer in Syria. No winners... except Assad. He changed the Syrian demographic getting rid of millions of Sunni and an overpopulation problem ... and, will get Syria rebuilt.

It will be small to you, but not small to the Syrians. Russia will respond, and one way will be to give Syria the S-400 which has been held back over Israel's concern. I believe the Russians said it the last time Washington bombed over a false flag attack.

The US usually warns Russia so it can get its men out of the way before an attack, and Russia in turn warns the Syrians so they can move their equipment to Russian areas. So what is the purpose of it, other than a publicity stunt to gain world opinion. Maybe to present the terrorists in Idlib, who continuously attack the Syrian and Russians forces, as innocent civilians.

Washington's real intent though is to prolong the war - as it has been doing for the past 5 years, and to keep the Syrians from returning.

In August 2013, Mr. Trump exhorted Mr. Obama not to intervene after a chemical weapons attack near Damascus that American intelligence attributed to the Syrian military killed more than 1,400 civilians, including hundreds of children, according to United States government estimates at the time. “President Obama, do not attack Syria,” Mr. Trump said on Twitter. “There is no upside and tremendous downside.”

That makes no sense at all. If you want to shoot northwest Syria, you do it from the Med Sea NOT the Persian Gulf.

Syria’s Scientific Studies and Research Center (CERS) may sound benign in name, but the recently sanctioned organization is almost single-handedly responsible for developing the country’s chemical and unconventional weapons programs.

CERS is primarily responsible for advancing Syria’s unconventional weapons programs, including its chemical weapons stockpiles and nuclear research. It was established in 1971 by Assad’s father, Hafez, as a civilian agency, but its focus quickly turned to weapons development by 1973.

Syria’s arsenal drastically expanded over the next several decades, with the help nefarious actors like Iran and North Korea, and even some not-so-nefarious ones, like the former West Germany and France.

By 1992, the Department of Defense considered Syria a regional leader in chemical weapons capabilities thanks in no small part to CERS.

Many of Syria’s top scientists are posted at the center’s shadowy Jamraya research center, a heavily militarized location built with the help of the Soviet Union in the 1980s. Jamraya’s employees are reportedly banned from speaking to foreign agencies and persons, particularly while the country is engaged in warfare, according to the BBC. The location is heavily guarded, as it serves as base of operations for the 105th and 4th Presidential Guards brigades, the latter of which is headed by Assad’s own brother, Maher. Many of the military assets at the location are believed to be buried underground.

    https://nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/inside-assads-shadowy-chemical-weapons-factory-20425

The center caught the attention of the Bush administration in 2005 and became subject to an executive order against proliferators of weapons of mass destruction. Treasury froze the assets of SRCC subsidiaries in 2007 for proliferating ballistic missiles, chemical and biological weapons.
