Unless those players with broken knees also happen to be major starters and the quality of team play goes down because they're out, and thus ensuring a losing season. Then there's nothing to cheer for. The players will still get paid, though.

Doubt that will last though. The NFL will probably follow the NBA contracts. Don't stand, don't get paid for that game. Much more costly as the NFL has far fewer games.

Anything that unifies actually. Flag, anthem, pledge ... now America's pastime. Identity politics has 2 key elements. Divisiveness, and animosity ... both on full display. (D)'s keep pushing further left to maintain the political divide. Centerists / moderates threaten to wrest power away from insincere party elitists. There's nothing sacred to the American oligarchy.

*** SOLUTION TO THE "KNEELING" PROBLEM ***

The 'aggrieved' Black NFL football players who hate the Star Spangled Banner (our current national anthem) might be willing to stand for a NEW national anthem -- and here it is >>>> :cheerleader::banana::hippie::spin:

Now that Nike has decided to heap honors on Krappernick I won't be buying any of their crap until at least after they finally get rid of him. What will I watch instead of NFL? Anything would be better than watch a bunch of clowns who hate this country. Maybe a different kind of porn would be more enjoyable.

Standing up for innocent people's lives in the face of fascist government brutality and repression is patriotic. After all, that's how many right wingers felt about Waco and Murrah terrorism. The difference being that Kaepernick takes a knee. Right wingers drop bombs and kill little children.

Oh by the way, Nike sales are up 31% thanks to patriotic Kaepernick.

    That is pure patriotism.

Well, you do have a talent for condensing the more nauseating, undocumented aspects of the America-hating, hyperliberal Left into the fewest words possible.

So, in your very humble opinion, Crusader Krappernick is the embodiment of the 'struggle' against "fascist government brutality and repression"? And it's we "Right wingers" who "drop bombs and kill little children"? My, my... St. Krappernick's reach is broad, indeed!

The Leftist manipulators may offer shallow fare, but they aren't stupid. They probably front-end loaded the Nike sales to make it look like there was a landslide of support for this whole BLM/ANTIFA 'Guerrilla Theater' propaganda ploy. But go ahead and crow about how well Nike is doing -- today. Let's see what kind of shape they're in by the end of the NFL's season... a season, BTW, which is kind of already off to a dismal start: https://tvline.com/2018/09/07/nfl-kickoff-game-ratings-decline-eagles-falcons/ . Sure, blame it all on the "rain delay".... .

Oh, the NHL Hockey pre-season starts next Saturday, Sept. 15th. And the NHL regular season begins October 4th! :cheerleader:

[IMG]. Is Michael Brown the 'hero' that Krappernick honors with his "knee"...?

Is Timothy McVeigh the embodiment of Republican party politics?

The book did not indicate the percentage but it clearly shows the vast majority were white. Does that upset or thrill you?

    OK. Back on topic:

Steelers anticipating a lengthy absence by Le'Veon Bell as holdout enters regular season
The Steelers are planning not to have Bell for at least the first month of the season

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...leveon-bell-as-holdout-enters-regular-season/

Bell is the go to guy on his team but others are better paid than he is. Too bad he signed the wrong contract. Pittsburgh is going to miss him.

CLASSIC Left-wing, radical Democrat evasion! Can't tell you much about the Republican Party, "Truth"... I'm not a member of it.

Criminals are criminals, "Truth". Timothy McVeigh broke the law and was executed. Michael Brown broke the law, refused to obey police commands, threatened a police officer, and was shot. In both cases, JUSTICE prevailed. And for neither of those events should anybody be making false charges against the police, making up LIES about law enforcement in this country, or disrespecting the symbols of the United States of America.

Want to avoid having trouble with the police? OBEY THE LAWS OF OUR SOCIETY, and, OBEY the commands of police officers!

Now... got a nifty dodge to evade any of that?

Thanks for staying off topic - a concession that you lost the debate, again.

Meanwhile, Kaepernick's efforts have increased sales of Nike - go Kap!
