The part where you are projecting your own shortcomings onto me?
Or that part where you think you are above having any yourself?

Start with those two. See how you get on.

Thank you for disqualifying yourself from any further meaningful interaction on this topic as far as I am concerned.

    Have a nice day!

I concur. And when the minorities can't compete, they blame racism.

Does it work? I mean do the transfers from CCs to universities do well in the universities?

No they were not.....Germanic tribes were not into engineering or science. They defeated the Romans since the Romans had a rather had a divided population from a poor economy, civil war, and plagues. The Romans needed manpower and the Germans were there.

Yes, it does work as a rule. Of course the top of the HS class don't generally take the CC route. So the CC students may not graduate ahead of the HS valedictorian. But any student cannot help but benefit from a class of 25-30 taught by a professor who is available for office hours, compared with a class of 150 taught by the professor's TA. The CC professor will be fired if the students don't learn. The TA may care but is biding her time to graduate and move on.

The Germans often led the Romans into traps.

The last time I checked, in Colorado, the community colleges and the state universities were interlinked. As a cost savings to the state, and to the students, they encouraged people to take the lower level classes at CC's, guaranteeing that their credits would transfer. The CCs also have the advantage of a remedial education program. For a student who missed out on necessary subjects in high school, the community college is the place to catch up.

I don't think that some classes matter that much, whether they are taught at community colleges or universities. Things like US or world history, music or art appreciation, economics, creative writing, philosophy, US government, and the lower lever math classes aren't that difficult to teach.

Good to know. I agree that lower level math is easy to teach, but there are students that will struggle learning it in an auditorium.
