You're leaving out the most important aspect -- burying it until a guy is on the verge of being confirmed to the USSC and playing gambit games trying to control when he's allowed to testify and demanding the FBI investigate something that isn't their jurisdiction not counting the statute of limitations. That reeks of partisan politics.

LMAO... His accuser should. There is no reason someone should take a poly when there isn't even enough to launch a juvenile groping investigation.

Btw, I've taken several pre-employment polygraphs. They're garbage.

Now Michael Avenatti(He of Stormy Daniels misfame) is now accusing Kavanaugh/Mark Judge of going around and drugging and raping women(which, you'd think would lead to an investigative claim, Somewhere prior to 2018 but I regress...)

Avenatti is the same guy who had improper access to classified information. Why isn't he in jail yet?

Tell to her what? She wanted 130k for her services, and dumb Trump paid for it. So much for being an "alpha" male.

Also note that Avenatti nor any one else filed legal charges. None of them have gone through the proper channels. Instead, they hope for the political execution of Kavanaugh's character. And who knows, they might just get it.

If so, freedom in America has successfully been assaulted by the Democratic Party.

Even if these allegations are remotely true, they were teenagers for gosh sakes. And no one was hurt. They are adults now. It has been thirty five years. He isn't a dumb teen anymore. He is an adult, Husband, Father and Judge. To criticize him now is like smacking an old dog because he pee'd on the carpet when he was a puppy. What It all looks like to me is the treachery and utter meanness of Democrats, and consequently, the self destruction of their own credibility going forward.

And they are showing the true depths of evil that exist in America. The radical extremists are no different from the Iranian Ayotallah regime, or the Russian regime. It won't be long before(and in fact, Waters has already approved of) violence against conservatives, independents or anyone else who doesn't kowtow to the left regime.

always. for the most part, their bag of tricks started to show serious cracks on or about 2010 midterms. What we're seeing now is a convulsive, undignified death rattle. What rises from the ashes is anybody's guess....a move back to the center, or more of these "Democratic Socialists"... who don't understand the first thing about this country, or the people they aspire to lead rule. If it's the latter, civil war is inevitable, and sooner rather than later.

The line of those willing to throw themselves under the bus to keep a conservative judge from being confirmed to the SCOTUS forms on the left, and that line is long indeed. Can you imagine how hard the democrats had to work at finding just the right ones to provide the desired result. Keeping a conservative off the big bench could be argued as being far more paramount than ousting the POTUS. After all, he can be voted out, but a Supreme Court Justice, now that's a different story.

That would be a most regrettable outcome, but an entirely plausible outcome if they try to enforce this new idea of justice as federal law. It is such a violation of our mutual compact as a nation, it forces the division to be unrepairable.

we are on the cusp of things breaking loose. If Americans cannot expect to be protected by a functioning and fair justice system, what in the hell are we paying taxes for?

I won't be mysterious, there were numerous political events leading up to Ft. Sumpter and the start of the civil war. The major difference if hostilities break out, is that it won't neatly be North VS South, or Conservative VS Liberals. You'll have everyone from the Northeast to the Midwest to the Pacific, joining various factions.

In the absence of law, chaos rules. In the protest of the 2016 elections, certain factions of Americans have decided to do away with the facade of law. That means that chaos will rule supreme. Do I endorse it? No. Do I find it inevitable? More and more likely, yes. Especially since this attack is on the presumption of innocence. A far more worthy cause of a civil war than slavery.
