He never had to be proven innocent, because the accusations against him were never proven to be true, so he remained innocent....

    Get it?

These conversations have to stop at some point.

Maybe you've got no life, but others do.

Like the Korean/American who wrote the article, Dave Choi (@choiboy), you don't understand the nuances of the English language. In his headline, Dave Choi wrote: "Trump claimed Brett Kavanaugh was 'proven innocent' of claims he sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford, but he was never on trial"

    1) Brett Kavanaugh was indeed proven innocent in the kangaroo court he was dragged through. His accusers had no corroborative evidence and were shown to have merely concocted a bunch of lies in order to sabotage his nomination.

    2) You don't have to be 'on trial' in order to be accused and proven innocent. My neighbor can accuse me of theft and another neighbor can admit to the theft, thus absolving me, thus proving me innocent. No law court involved.

Korean is Boy Choi's first language, and certainly his parent's first language. He makes these kinds of fundamental mistakes because he is only 33 years old and immigrated to the US from Korea when he was a boy. If he doesn't understand the nuances of English he should stay out of politics.

Who the hell said he did? It was a direct quote from that orange idiot. Do you even know what you're railing against?

There was a Senate investigation, with full authority.
The dems on the committee refused to participate and send investigators of their choosing

    He's on the record as:
    - two cases of perjury (not related to his sexual escapades)
    - a history as a partisan political operative
    - multiple uninvestigated accusations of sexual aggression.

Anyone who thinks that is "above reproach" must be swimming in the gutters.

He started innocent and remains innocent until evidence sufficient to reject that he did nothing is presented.

Dr. Ford, her list of witnesses, the others who reported sexual aggression, AND Kavanaugh were not asked even ONE question about any of those issues. Plus, the leads for the FAKE Republican investigation were friends of Kavanaugh!

You can NOT call that an investigation.

That came even after Republicans agreed to investigate! (So, when should Republicans be trusted with anything related to the rule of law America stands for?)

This confirmation was a TOTAL sham and whitewash.

    Amen.

There wasn't even an honest investigation.

These are some pretty serious charges.

There is every reason to be seriously upset at the TOTAL SHAM that put this guy on our highest court.

    Republicans promised an investigation.

And, that was a blatant lie by Republicans.

There was absolutely NO refusal to participate.

And, that is a lie on YOU.

There was a Senate investigation and the investigators had the same legal authority as an FBI agent. Why did Diane and Dicky not send in their investigators? They were not refused.

    Prove.
    Here you go:
    prove
    proÍžov/
    verb
    1. 1.
demonstrate the truth or existence of (something) by evidence or argument.
Have you ever heard that the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence? While sometimes a fallacy, It's applicable in this scenario.

That Republicans refused to investigate like they promised they would is FACT.

That Kavanaugh perjured himself twice is also FACT - once concerning his involvement with Pickering and once when he denied passing along information that was obviously illegally obtained in order for it to be used in an election.

That Kavanaugh is a partisan political warrior is also demonstrated by his outrageous outburst of wrath - which even HE realized was so offensive that he needed to claim he didn't really mean it!!

    HE WAS NEVER ON TRIAL

There was no need to investigate and there was no proof to investigate.

If Ms. Ford wants to go the police and charge Kavanaugh with sexual assault there's nothing stopping her...

The data from the polygraph has been released. Ditto the therapist notes.
Again, she offered 4 witnesses who did not back her up. Kavanaugh has been vindicated as the liars who denounced him have been exposed for what they are.

Did you believe Tawana Brawley and Joyce Throneberry?

Oh, good lord! Are you really that clueless about how this works?

First of all, Republicans promised to investigate. They lied.

Second of all, the FBI does not investigate unless directed to do so, and the Judiciary Committee doesn't have the power to direct them to do ANYTHING.

Third of all, senators don't have personal investigative authority. Besides, they found enough to warrant an investigation - which Republicans (including Trump) agree to carry out.

    But they didn't.

This is on the Republicans - including Trump.
