There is no legal definition of being native american anywhere on this planet that she meets and the Cherokee nation agrees.

Then name one Fresh Air. Name any legal definition of Native American she meets.

Go ahead, prove your fake claim right here and now.

No she doesn't. She has less than the average white American. duh.

Are you now claiming all average white Americans can now call themselves Native American?

    Answer the question Fresh Air.

yes, many Americans have much DNA in their DNA, that is why they call American the melting pot

this just confirms the stories her family told her when she was a child about her ancestory... no more, no less

of course she did. She has no connection with any tribe. They said it themselves. DNA proves nothing about tribal membership.

yeah, so? many people with Native American blood do not belong to a tribe, not sure I see your point - she never claimed to be a member of a tribe, now your trying to move the goalpost instead of admitting you were wrong

She never personally made any specific claim to blood degree.

I honestly don't agree with the way she's gone about this. What she should have done is visit the tribal administrative offices of the nation she thinks she's descended from. If she had an ancestor's name they would probably help her look for it on the final rolls and, if found, I think they would be most helpful in helping her research more and they probably wouldn't mind her claiming tribal heritage in that context. But she did so without permission or humility and that's a no-no.

But that doesn't change the fact that what she said does appear to be the truth to the extent to which she said it is. That's not spin it's fact. They're different even though lots of people can't tell the difference now.

    What degree did she profess 1/2 1/4 1/8 1/16th?

Oh that's right she didn't. She believes she's part Cherokee because that's what her parents told her.

are you saying republicans are some kind of white nationalist master race?

I think you would be surprised, most republicans are just as much mutts as the rest of us in this great melting pot we know as the USA

She said she was told that one of her ancestors was Native American. The DNA test supports this claim. Where is the lie?
