When I was in high school, another boy wanted to fight me because I had ran faster than he did. Before it came to blows, a teacher had interviened. In class, the teacher said something to me about it being better to be a lover than a fighter. There was this girl in class, who I liked quite a bit. As the teacher spoke, she gave me a look, that fixed firmly on my head, the direction I was going to take. I get the feeling that the Poor Boys are those who took the other path.

I agree. I think it is entirely wrong to call right-wing following conservatives/Republicans/Christians Nazis or Fascists. They are are menace all their own, with their own unique bad acts.

 

No need to imagine. They aren't everywhere which is a good thing.

Thing about nazis and nationalists and racists of all colors is most are way to cowardly to declare themselves and get all snowflakey when you accuse them usually for obvious things like carrying a nazi flag, or shooting white power hand signs, or using trigger words or expressing certain political opinions or marching with a bunch of other racist scum.

I do understand that its in the interests of the right to think the left is calling everyone on the right a bunch of fascist nazis. It turns their focus towards the left so they can blissfully ignore the fact that their party has chosen to lie down with the fascist scum.

 

The AntiFa, in the Pacific Northwest, are part of the greater Anarchist movement. The ones who caused the riots in Seattle when the G8 came to town. I used to be a contributing writer and artist, to anarchist and other related underground magazines, pre-Internet. The mindset is based on the idea of being free from corporate rule.

Corporations are mostly owned and ran by people who inherited their wealth, who profit the most, even though they do almost no work. It is these people who benefit most from Republican rule. When violent right-wing gangs, like Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys, are invading our towns, the Anarchists see corporates tools.

What sets the Pacific Northwest apart from the rest of the country, is that we, as a society, as a culture, have decided that some things are more important than money. Companies are welcome here, but they have to play by our rules, not theirs. It is why the Pacific Northwest, is both full of natural beauty, and has highly productive industry, and the people tend to be so much healthier than elsewhere.

Perhaps the Anarchists can't have a go at people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mitch McConnell, and Donald tRump, but they sure can have a go at their dupes, especially those who trash talk their city and their culture, and are obviously looking for a fight.

They last time Patriot Prayer came to town, they had snipers on the roof of a parking garage. The police stopped them before they got their guns out of their cases.

I agree with mayor Ted Wheeler, if these continual invasions by violent right-wing gangs, aren't stopped, people are going to get killed.
