The other reason is my reason - it is just so obvious and so general among humanity that you claiming not to be able to figure out what that reason is - is like denying water is wet. The same human emotion comes in any situation where there is violence perpetuated against the vulnerable (not talking about the zygote/Fetus).

There is a general belief among humanity that a man should not strike a woman - never mind a violent attack on a woman the offender does not know. The same is true of the elderly or someone who is incapacitated or crippled in some way.

A pregnant woman is more vulnerable "incapacitated" than a woman who is not.
