I doubt it. They have been there for 3 years, and lost 100 men, which is probably less than they lose in Russia during training accidents. They are not deploying infantry, so the casualty rates will remain low.

:))), They lost over 300+ mercs back in Feb alone....the casualty rates probably way higher....kremlin keeps casualty rates under tight wraps, afaic.

Keep dreaming! I can't understand you people, your hatred and envy towards Russia is so overwhelming that you don't care that you're destroying your own country and people. Does it stem from an inferiority complex?

As for Syria, the Deir Eizzor is where our bases are, and where ISIS is running about alive and well. So who are we fighting in Syria - one has to wonder? :confuse:

Not that it really matters, because our troops have no idea what they're doing. The real questions are:

1 - Will we continue to support ISIS and Al Nusra in Syria to go against Assad?

2 - Will we protect the Kurds from Turkish attacks, or leave them to their fate in Deir Eizzor the way we did yesterday?

3 - Will our troops continue to work with Turkish troops in Manbij to the chagrin of the Kurds?

4 - Turkey said joint US/Kurd patrols guarding the border are unacceptable. Will they attack or not?

What a confusing mess, but then again, let's just say integrity has never been an attribute of ours.

Hey Zoomy! Mercenaries are not Russian soldiers - and where did you come up with that number anyway? Wishful thinking again?

If they were Russian soldiers, you and half the world would be ten feet under by now. The mercenaries were hired by the owners to help them take back the lands stolen in Deir Ezzor by the US and their proxies the Kurds.

Very few Russian troops are actually fighting in Syria. That's left to the Syrians with help from Iran and Hezbollah. What the Russians are doing is teaching the Syrians how to use the equipment, and advising them and helping them with strategy and logistics.

Vladimir Putin said that Syria is a great training ground for his men, as well as a testing ground for their latest arms - and that the experience is priceless. He also said the cost of being there is no more than what it would have cost them had the troops remained in Russia.

Wagners should consider turning their focus from Central Africa back to Syria if they still want that Kremlin mafia funding keep flowing.

All military groups were members of their own nations armed forces at one time. It's where they got their military training. Our own Blackwater in Ukraine is a perfect example. They are paid by the mafia families to help the Nazis attack the civilian areas in Donbass, and are being killed in retaliation. Does this mean the Donbass Republics are killing American soldiers?

Russia's Wagner was hired by the owners of the lands to help take the lands back. I doubt they would lower themselves to attacking civilian areas - but then again who knows, after all they are hardened individuals.

I'm not fighting against anyone. I'm supporting Assad because he's humane and supports his people in their fight against the terrorists from the Gulf and Central Asian states - as well as the Nato and Middle Eastern terrorists that kill and maim them with bombs. Yesterday the American coalition killed 15 more civilians and who knows how many were maimed as well.

Let's just say the Syrian Christians and others don't like being beheaded, or the idea of having sharia law imposed on them.

If Washington didn't need Russia as an enemy for its economy, Nato would cease to exist - which it might now that Germany wants to form an EU army.

We should develop self driving explosive laden vehicles that Syrian rebels and Syrians whose family member were killed by Russians to use against the Kremlin forces. That way only the vehicle commits suicide not the good guys.

"Assad supports his people". That is precious. Assad supports his people by using poison gas on them.

Your argument with the economy doesn't add up at all because NATO requires serious military spending and it's the US by far whos been spending the most even after having withdrawn largely. So if there hadn't been any aggressive Russian expansion towards Western allies threatening their national security the US would have probably had surplus like Germany had. So unlike what Moscow's golden shower boy claims it's Russian aggression and not the existence of NATO that hurts American economy!

Secondly, the idea of forming EU army is NOT new and it's not something that puts NATO in question as the latter's functions are not limited by a mere purpose of protection of the mainland (the continent) from outside invaders (guess who) but are to extend as far to start an epic offensive on the invading side that it might shatter the earth even to the way beyond the Urals which is the only escape for the Tsar... The EU army is not to be formed to do that...

You said "we" when asking who you were fighting with in Syria and I defined who that "we" is fighting with... I thought you might be smart enough to get who might I be referring there but apparently I was mistaken.

So then the Syrian Christians should get their asses together and start working on a plan to oust Assad in the first place because he's the one who's been welcoming jihadists from Sheria ruled Iran. Those jihadi terrorists Assad welcomes upon arrival immediately start working to turn secular Sunni citizens of Syria into Sheria and Jihad tolerant indivindividuals who are scared of getting killed...

They lost a lot more than that when they moved on a US base.
