Perhaps you missed tbe question mark at the end of my question to you. If you have full faith and confidence in Mueller and his team then why do you call for a parallel House investigation?

I like how people react to the loss of seats in the House, do they expect him to campaign for every representative? Use the campaign trail on the Senate where it can make a difference.

For that to work it has to be a bill that voters approve of. If it involves a tax hike that won't happen unless they say increasing corporate tax will fund it which half the country will approve of and that's what they will !ikely do.

Pelosi now "talking" about common ground on legislation. How crazy will it be if Nancy turns out to be the SANE voice of house (D)'s? Schiff & Co. clearly plan to reject Mueller's findings if Trump isn't crucified by them. Whether Pelosi can can convince Schiff another Trump witch hunt in the house will be disasterous, I can't say. but it will be disasterous for sure.

I disagree. I think that if Mueller clears Trump of any malfeasance the Democratic House leaders will accept his findings and move on regarding the Russian meddling as it pertains to Trump. However it would not surprise me to see oversight committees looking into allegations regarding Trump administration members using their office to enrich themselves. That is a proper role for congress and I would hope that both Democrats and Republicans would want to look into these matters.

I would rather see the young congressman from Youngstown/Akron Ohio as the Speaker of the House as Pelosi seems to be past her prime and is a lightning rod for the opposition party which will make it harder to get some bi partisan legislation enacted and passed. Best case scenario would be if Mueller clears Trump in much the same way that Comey cleared Clinton and members of the house work together to craft some reasonable legislation regarding infrastructure, healthcare, immigration and border security.

Trump can do himself and his party a lot of good by keeping his trap shut regarding the ongoing investigation into Russian meddling into our election process and cease and desist with the name calling. Mueller has not even accused Trump of anything yet. If he is wise, he will seek common ground with Democrats regarding getting some of his campaign promises fulfilled with smart legislation. He should work across the aisle to replace Obama care with something terrific which will cover everyone at a fraction of the cost. He should work with both parties in congress to get a trillion dollar infrastructure bill passed to upgrade our transportation system and our power grids. Same with immigration and border security.

Times like this present great opportunities for America. Great leaders know how to take the high road, bring people together while leaving their petty gripes and hurt feelings behind. So far in his short time in office, Trump has let the little things get the best of him to instead of focusing on the big picture. If he can grow into this enormous job and quit acting like such a big baby, he can pull another rabbit out of his hat like he did by winning the GOP nomination and again by winning the general election and actually become a great President. It’s still early.

 

No really its called tthe Hyde amendment.

Well no you don't and should study up on The Great Compromise which had nothing to do with the total number of people in the United States. Your STATE is represented equally with other STATES in the Senate. Your PEOPLE get a larger representation in HOUSE. Being politically active starting in my youth seems to have given me an advantage on our history and system of government.

Think about what I actually posted. If Mueller had even a shred of evidence a sitting President had committed treason and sedition and was working with a foreign government you think he would be sitting on it? And serving and is not the only course of action. The grand jury can vote the indictment and Mueller can take to the Speaker of the House ala the Clinton impeachment. He an merely issue a report and give to the AG and the Congress.
