So now Fox News personalities are mocking newly elected Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez because she's not wealthy enough to easily/quickly afford a Washington, DC apartment? Forget the FACT that she beat the odds AGAINST long time established Democrat & Republican incumbents ON THE ISSUES as a SOCIALIST-DEMOCRAT...it's any picayune thing the Fox folk can focus on to try and discredit the woman even before she starts her job. they weren't mocking her because she wasn't wealthy they were mocking her because about a week ago when asked how are we going to pay for her agenda of Medicaid for all and her reply was " you just pay for it"
so now when she is complaining about the problem of not being able to afford an apartment in DC the reply to her is the same "you just pay for it"

I've heard about congressmen sleeping in their offices and I've also heard that several of them will share an apartment.

The thing about Cortez is she lives in New York City which has higher rents than DC. She can stay in NYC, take the train to DC, spend 4 nights in a hotel, then return to NYC on the weekend.
