80 football fields per minute ! :eyepopping:

FAKE NEWS FAKE NEWS FAKE NEWS

Who started this fake news story that the fire was moving so freaking fast consuming 80 football fields per minute ???

No other than Fake News CNN.
And the other fake news medias didn't fact check CNN and also ran with the fake news.

Neither Cal-Fire, Butte County FD or any federal, state or local authority made such a claim or could confirm CNN's fake news story.

    Do the math X 80

The dimensions of a regulation NFL football field are listed below

    Overall Dimensions

All football fields share the same overall outside dimensions. The outside measurements below include the End Zone. High School, College and the NFL all have overall outside dimensions of:

Length: 360 feet or 120 yards

    Width: 160 feet or 53 1/3 yards

As of this morning, 100,000 acres have burned in just over 48 hours.

    100,000 acres/48 hours = 2083 acres per hour/60 =34.72 acres per minute.

A football field equals 1.32 acres in size.

34.72 acres per minute/1.32 acres = 26.3 football fields being burned every minute on average for the past 48 hours.

However, there surely was times with higher winds when the fire was actually burning 80 football fields per minute.

IT'S NOT FAKE NEWS...IT IS HORRIFIC NEWS...

This is what happens when you take water from the rest of the state so LA can be pretty and livable.

The real question is who are the terrorists who keep starting these fires?

This is what happens when you have decades of leftists managing California water resources.

The current governor, when he was serving in the 70's refused to build dams and reservoirs-because he didn't want more people moving here.

They did anyway, and now we have this situation.

Nevermind what the water shortages have done to the central valley, which is the nations top producer.

The last and closest fire to us was some guys stump grinding and when they went to lunch a fire broke out and with some winds and nearby trees within minutes a full-blown fire was in progress with ground and air crews fighting the fire...fires can start for many reasons...

There is a possibility that some faulty PG&E equipment might have started one of the fires.

Yes, and instead of supporting the brave courageous people who have to fight the fires or extending sympathy to those who lost everything including their LIVES, President Fat Orange Coward starts BLAMING and threatening to withdraw funding to a place that really needs it...talk about trying to make Americans suffer as much as possible !!!

CA is home to 40 million people and businesses, etc. with the best universities and educated people and high-tech, and so on, and to think CA is too stupid to manage their own resources is a joke. Most everything regarding Central Valley was a federal government problem. BTW; drought can NEVER be cause by environmental activists...total BS...

I will bet that terrorists and nut jobs started the recent fires. It is a wonderful way to wreck the society with minimum risk to the perp.

If the USFS and local FD were able to go out and thin out brush and the forests, the fires every year woudn't be a s bad as they. Bing that fire is a natural way to clear that out. But, no. The bleeding hearts, being who they are, fight that every tooth and nail. So this is your end result.

Na its well known that dems destroy things, like this state.

They can't keep the feces and heroin needles off the streets, its no wonder they can't manage resources.

And just as bad, that part of northern California is ignored by Sacramento. The upper third of california is essentially a rural, mountainous area with a sparse population.

Many areas without cell coverage, few and shoddy roads, and an overgrowth of fauna.
