This statement is an insight into the petty, vindictive partizan minds of the obamas and shows they learned nothing in their eight years in the Whitehouse. Of course you're not happy when the opposition wins but you are happy to be part of the peaceful transition of power we enjoy in this country or at least you should be. I'm so glad these two leftist that would have preferred to stay in power indefinitely or to install a successor of their choosing are gone. On second thought that's why they were so mad. They thought they were installing a successor of their own choosing but Trump came along and thwarted that plan. Good riddance!

Purposefully missing the point doesn't seem appropriate here. Of course no one cares that she smiled or not. The observation is that SHE made it an issue where she had to vent about it. So, no one cares if she did smile, or not, but that she found yet another self serving way to make a snide off putting comment out there.

I smiled for real during the Obama Inauguration, thinking that finally race was behind us as a social and cultural issue in the U.S., that we had advanced beyond it.

Boy was I wrong. The Left will never turn loose of its toxic race-baiting lie narratives.

I know another group who didn't smile much during the O Administration, yet likely smiled when Trump was inaugurated... the kids tasked with consuming Michelle's school lunch disaster.

My rebuttal is and has been that you and others are clearly bothered by a person not smiling.

 

After his first term, and a plethora of broken campaign promises, being sold out to wall street, I refused to vote for obama the second time. All that I saw was one of a few, of black elites, with that traditional ruling elite mindset, who I felt would have been a typical rich ruler of some african sh*t hole nation, who wallowed in splendor, as his people ate dirt.

Obama won for one simple reason. White people, and especially black people, wanted to see a black president, even if he were only half black. Some of these white folks were trying to expunge a guilt, in regards to slavery and Jim Crow, that they had nothing to do with. Obama didn't win because of vision, nor did he win because he was a man who would keep his promises, but was like every other president since post LBJ. A con artist, who like his father, lusted for a powerful position, for ego reasons.

I cannot think of a single positive change that obama is responsible for. The best that can be said of his presidency, is that we made amends to the black americans, by whites electing a black president, even if he had no business being there.

Hope and Change. Please pardon this old man as he rolls on the floor(and cannot get up) and laughs his old arse off!

Obama was just another president of a system where the elites rule over 300 plus million average americans. A system that is not even analogous to Republicanism, where the people elect a representative to go to DC in order to represent the best self interests of these people. Princeton used 2 decades of congressional record to evidence the total lack of representation, which intimates, the Republic is not a Republic, except in name only. Obama was a part of this treasonous system, and nothing more than that. Plus, he helped to fire up racial division that I thought had finally become more settled than the past. He was an outstanding divider in chief, who lied his way into the oval office.

From what I can tell, pres trump is the first president since LBJ that acted as if he wanted to keep some of his campaign promises, regardless of what you think about his character and manners. And because of this, he has broken a very long trend, of not keeping campaign promises, to lie one's way into the oval office. And yet, this matters not to the losers, who still claim he is the greatest liar ever to hold that office. Yes, he is a liar, but he isn't a damned liar as most presidents have been post LBJ. For a damned liar is more than just a liar. A damned liar are those people who lie on the campaign trail, and deliver little or nothing to their voters. Like obama. And that kind of liar IMO, is much much worse than the egotistical lies of pres trump. For they are relevant and have significance, importance.

I voted for obama, not because he was black, or half black, and I wanted to expunge white guilt, but because I actually thought he was somewhat of a return to the principles and values of FDR, Truman, Ike, JFK and LBJ. That perhaps a black feller would actually keep his promises, even if I did not agree with all of his promises, using his cheap words. Well, it turns out, it does not matter if the president is white or black, male or female. Until trump won, presidents had habitually lied to get elected, and then turned into a president of NOT the People, but a small group of ruling, rich elites. While I did not vote for trump, as his personality grated on my old arse, and I didn't figure he would keep even one promise, the fact that he actually did keep them, or try hard to keep them was not only shocking, but refreshing as a Tom Collins on a Mississippi summer's eve.

And yet all that we hear is what a liar trump is, as if he was just like obama! Perhaps dems are so used to getting lied to, and promises broken, that it pissed them off a person who ran as a republican, would actually do the unthinkable? ha ha. When neither party is known for this in more recent history. ha ha
