The electoral college is how every president we have had was elected. That sums it up.

My problem with Obama was over several things.
1. Not qualified to be president. While he was a Senator, that is not the qualification.
2. More than that, extremely indecisive. Such as wallowing for 8 years over the Keystone pipeline, essentially keeping it in his pocket to avoid a decision. Such as policy in both Iraq and in Afghanistan. Fired General McChrystal. Perhaps his best field officer then.
3. Claiming the constitution did not allow him to create DACA then doing it, knowing it is not legal.
4. Long winded. Could not speak until the teleprompter told him what to say. When it failed, he clearly was totally lost and had no clue what came next.

There is more than that, but primarily he did poorly. Also spent daily time still campaigning.
